I cannot for the life of me decide whether or not I like chewy sprees or chewy sweet-tarts better.

 

I wasn't asking anything proprietary but just simple questions. And no not to be a Di&%.

Is the end user (consumer) going to be able to tune thier own cars and is there going to be a user manual or better yet an instructional DVD ?

Or is this something the end user takes to a tuner who's familur with systems like this for them to tune?

Or yet again are you guys going to be the distributor and plan on selling these to tuners who will sell them to consumers who will them tune the cars?

What kind of MSRP are you guys shooting for? That's the million dollar question.

Oh and I wasn't talking about the tune on Hubie drag car. I was talking about the flash "custom" tunes that Fireballed was doing for awhile.

Off topic a bit...I know everyone is trying to proove theirselves as the best mini tuner, but like the bailout plan, how does your business with the mini apply to ME? Dr. Fuh, Hubie, Paul Webster, Mynes, where the hell were you when I wanted a much faster mini and a tune? You should work on your marketing...

I know it's hard for you to believe, but long before the almighty Jan was messing with SC tuning. Mynes was. Now, just becuase they didnt choose to use a software created by someone else and then say they thought all of the tunes up you need clarification? Just because they are actually developing a REAL tuning system specific to the MINIs factory ECU? Oh and that they have an actual STAND ALONE, not some plug an play BS like jan is calling a stand alone? And who did Jan steal said Plug and play from? Is it a rebadged Hydra? No one knows right now till someone finds out, then there will be another thread about Regbaged I mean Revolution MINI works.

Kal is running a Factory ECU on his turbo.

I think it's funny people act like Mynes is new. I think it was Hubie and Tuls working with mynes that did TONS of testing with them at the digital helm. I think Tuls more than proved the versitility and capibility of the factory ECU.

Can Jan read HEX code? Does he even know what it is? Oh so Mynes took a longer road, that means they are discredited? What cause they havent been on NAM pounding their chests before?

I hear alot of excuses from Jan. "street" car this, blah blah that. This is the same dumb crap I went through with the supra guys. "it's not a street car cuase it doesnt have AC" ok Jan... you know what. If you get owned. Just take it like a man for once. You had your chance to run your race car. Nothing but excuses have been heard about that.

Why do we even care about a challenge from a company that doesn't even offer any products for the SC MINI's? If you want a turbo kit....Great....go to Mynes and get one. But don't try and compare the two different products. When Mynes comes out with a product in the same price point/performance as what is now available then maybe we can have some kind of challenge. But until then there really isn't any reason to try and compare them.

I have no doubt that both parties are doing quality work and have a lot of satisfied customers, but they are producing products for two completely different customer bases.

And how long has this new stand alone unit been under construction........?
