Drivetrain RMW cam confusion. Jan? (CLOSED WHY?)

Well the original Newmans cam went 108.4mph (twice) today at 2488lb with a POS header / cat back and tune that doesn't work.Congrats Jove on the smashing the old world record, also he was the first to ever go 106, 107 and 108, ET was 13.1and 13.2 on Parada Spec 11 and pump gas, no water /meth and no nitrous
Here in Cali today it's solid sun and 70. I'm in my shorts. The wife and daughter are out driving around with the top down in the BMW and I'm getting ready to watch the game and grill a steak. Outside of course

no complaints from me about RMW head
It's got the job done so far. The RMW exhaust system didn't work for me and getting black flagged because your car is to loud an't fun.
It would be nice if some of the RMW guys in the states would join in.. It could be fun? But this is not the thread to talk about such things.

no complaints from me about RMW head It's got the job done so far. The RMW exhaust system didn't work for me and getting black flagged because your car is to loud an't fun.

first off watch the name calling!
second no one is arguing that he has made 300whp on an R53. that has NOTHING to do with this thread.
third it doesn't matter who he has teamed up with. he clammed to design a part that he did NOT. regardless if he is the "exclusive" distributor in the US!
yes he has said he got a few custom cams in (which i am guessing are on the 300whp R53) and plans to get more in too. but as far as the "street" cam it is not his design. but I take it he is working on one. I am interested in how much of a difference his "street" cam would be vs the other one. I have not heard anything bad about his parts. this (and the other) thread were to find out about who designed them not to criticize the parts/manufacture/vendor/performance/etc. but some people, like MiniStupidfun, just like to try to make things out to be more than they are.
this could have ended quite simply if Jan just steped up and said that he did not design the cam but it was the best that he had found and is working with them to have his own design built. Insted of being criptic in his responces. maby this wouldnt have gone on for 2 threads!

Stop it, your embarrassing yourself. This isnt about finding the truth, this is personal. That's why im telling those who enjoy stirring up trouble to get a life. Get out of that computer chair and find something constructive to do.

This all could have been avoided if a straight answer had been given from the very start, instead we got the typical internet style ambiguous answer where the person veiwing the thread is expected to read between the lines and draw their own conclusions, I'll point out that all of the vendors on NAM seem to be equally guilty of this at one time or another. When that happens you get all this BS we have been seeing for the last five pages, and (arguably) the party in question ends up losing customers as a result.
Honestly a simple answer of something like "RMW is the exclusive distributor of Newman Cams in the USA. That is what we carry and sell as the 'RMW Cam". Then again I am an engineering student not a marking/PR student, so I am probably not very qualified to make statements on things of this nature.

Paul did but then you made a remark about how no body is interested but he did remark on the cam in the first instance and was backing it with real world data. You don't want to go out and do some 0-60, 0-100, 1/4 miles times that's fine, but don't knock people that do go out there and give some real world figures. You might be happy with your laminated graph but we don't believe a dyno alone is enough.
Yes Jan will say they have set a time around SOW @ 1:25 That I'm sure is a great achievement but I can't put a time down there as I don't live in the states and It's too expensive to ship the car over at the moment :(
