Well after seein what was systems were available and what I could get my hands on, and after talkin to some people, I went with the kit from AEM...It's progressively controlled based on boost, it has a couple of safety features and warnings, checkvalve, etc, and overall I gotta say it's a pretty nice setup, and runnin 50/50 mix....The hardest part bout the install was just plumbing the wiring, etc thru the car cuz I mounted the tank and pump in the trunk...I think it took like 3.5hrs to install...And so next week I'm gonna get it re-tuned for the w/m on the dyno at a local tuning place, so we'll see what kinda power she makes.

no cuz i didn't dyno it yet, but I'd say she's definitely one of the stronger ones out there...but when i do, I can just turn the w/m off and dyno it, then turn it on and dyno again......I'd hope like 240whp with w/m based off a approx. 220whp start point, and make a ton of torque, we'll see

Right know our Mini's must be running very simillar. I have been looking at those kit's but I ordered some new Enkei wheels so the kit will have to wait. a little longer...

Please keep us informed to see the progress.

I think you are going to be around 235 -245 whp with the kit installed and almost 250-260 of torque.

Merry X-mas to all of you!!!!

yeah that's what I have, but I met a local tuner who does protuning for unichips, and that's what I'm gonna do

Check is he can input a signal from the wi to the unichip so that when its on it has a different timing table . simple mod to do if the wi kit has this option.

BTW the unichip has what they call a "High resolution 02 channel" & "Lambda sensor Manipulation" you should check with him if this is wideband compatible or just regular narrow band setup since this will give us control of fueling to a certain point, meaning on stock turbo since i doubt the ecu will be happy to add fuel for a turbo setup unless someone checks if the injector outputs are 12v somewhere since I know the injectors see 85v.

yeah map 0 will remain what i have, and then map 1 will be for the w/m injection with the boost, fueling, timing adjusted.

Just my 2 cents

Be careful when running different maps for the WM. Most kits don't provide any confirmation that they are actually spraying. I know a few of the big names in WM show flow based on pump speed, which means they show they are injecting even if the pump is dry or the line is pluged........
