Fitted DDM Filter and cut through brake line!!!

Arghhhhh!!!

Just spent the last 2.5hours fitting my DDMWorks RIS system and closed the bonnet to start her up and notice that the brake pedal is rock hard almost immediately! Open up the bonnet and I have snapped the power line to the brakes (or at least I think thats what it is!?) but either way my brakes have 100% gone - only my handbrake works :(
Anyone had this before or any idea what to do other than go crying to BMW and pay their mad rates to get a new line?

Absolutely gutted

It's the plastic piece that runs along the top for the brake boost, right? Isn't there a rubber hose in the kit that is supposed to replace that?

Yeah - but stupid me here didnt realise what would happen, and wanted to make sure the bonnet shut ok with the new ram air feed, so without thinking I shut it down and that must have been when it snapped

If only I had thought ahead and realised that i needed to fit that black pipe before testing to see if I had fitted the air feed right

God damn. At least its only a small plastic adaptor that BMW need to replace, not the whole line in self, AFAIK it is just this bit that will need to be replaced right? (see photo)

And then the black rubber hose attaches to that and the firewall end

Wish I had asked you before I fitted this lol

You know how MINI is, it's probably sold as a complete assembly. I can't imagine it would cost too much though... (Famous last words, right?)

Kind of scary that breaking that little plastic thing renders the brakes inoperable. FWIW sorry to hear about that happening.
