That just makes me want to slap someone...why wouldn't it just put you in a different class like other mods?

Well now that you have let the cat out of the bag, we can start hounding you for info

I'm guessing you are still developing, so there are no actual numbers, but what kind of peak hp and tq for NA are we talking? just a little hint please.
What would be the approximate difference in hp/tq in NA between the 1.8 and the 2.0. If I had the option of getting 200whp NA with a drop in motor, I might have to start pimping out my cats.

Or is it better to just get 440 regardless of the upgrades, and then forget about it?
This is what I am planning to do a year or two down the road. Let me know how it turns out! (the cam/pulley/injector combo)

How would the cam do with the JCW flash until I could get to a Jan tune?

That's a bit extreme. It's nowhere near that crazy in the MINI. Sounds stock with the occasional idle search (blipping up and down 120-150 rpm's). The RMW cam is barely noticeable (occasional 40-60 rpm dips).

Is it extremely unsafe to run the cam/pulley/header without a tune to drive to be tuned? I am in PA and heard there is a tune in Mass(270m away) think I will do any damage if I drive up there?

Does anyone have before/after dyno charts for the cam only (or maybe cam+injectors)? I'd love to see:

Stock cam dyno
RMW cam dyno pre-tune
RMW cam dyno post-tune

Just to get a better understanding of what the torque curve change really looks like for this setup, without the head...

No issues here. I had the cam and header on for about a week and 200 miles before the tune without any issues. I also had 380cc injectors and 15% pulley.

You will definitely feel the difference once Jan ties it all together with the tune!

here you go........
here is a dyno of 2 GPs
1 with header/cam and the other bone stock but tuned to the gills

that ~5-15lb/ft of torque is luscious...

But I gotta think the header had a lot to do with that?

Of course, I'm just fartin into the wind.... because if everything pans out I'm gonna have the cam and tune in two weeks anyway, and then I'll know.

I'm hoping to have some interesting new dyno plots when all is done:
1) Baseline: 15%, Intake, one-ball (welded), MTH tune
2) Above, plus RMW cam and 380's, with same tune
3) Same as (2), with Jan-tune.

So should be able to answer the question "what does an RMW cam, JCW injectors and RMW tune yield over the MTH tune on a 15% car?". It's an auto... so not going to be setting any HP records, and don't really care about that... torque is king for me...

to tell you the truth, I really dont even see that.........I was very surprised to see an almost stock idle after the cam. I guess I'll just have to wait till the tune for some #'s but I think they will be good.

I have 2006 MCS with factory JCW....So, if i just get a cam and stick with JCW pulley, JCW header, JCW exhaust, what kind of WHP gain would I be able to achieve with RMW tune?

What if I then added just the RMW header but kept the rest of the exhaust as OEM JCW?

Thanks for any input...

440cc are when you are really needing the injector up top to keep it cool

i have the cam with jcw cai, 15% pulley and milltek exhaust, and stock injectors. do i need to curb rpm's/stay away from rev limiter at the track untill i get 380cc injectors and tune? knowing that i should be shifting before 6000 would be helpful

you will be fine as long as your injectors are clean with the stock tune
