Revolution Mini Works Camshaft..... taking orders

Ok..... it has been slow getting geared up for this as the demand has been through the roof. We are trying to fill orders as fast as possible. IF you have not received your cam please put your name on this list so we can get it to you as fast as humanly possible. I have another 30 coming

Price is $400 + $15 shipping in the USA

Yes it works great on stock heads.....
expect around 10whp and 8-10ft lbs of torque

What are the specs on the cam?

On a serious note, those numbers one should expect are with the factory head and no tune?

we have had those numbers reported back to us. Even Fracky said they thought it was worth 10whp on their dyno

Even Alaska and Hawaii?

Easy man, some people just like the EXTRA reassurance.

While PR is a US territory shipping goods there is more expensive and requires customs paperwork.

I appreciate the help from everyone, I'm sure Jan will check the costs and let me know. Nathan's right, it usually costs a bit more to ship here, he's already sent me some s/s brake lines a while back. The only way to get lower (than typical) shipping costs to PR is by US Postal Service.

is it bad when your UPS driver knows you by name and grabs boxes for you a day ahead of time b/c he knows you'll appreciate it? this just happened to me last night with a new set of wheels.

Maybe he has a crush on you.

I would bet it's more than $15 to ship a 5lb box to Hawaii or Alaska as well...

Not sure if I want to install in my JCW head, or just get your head as well. But before I pull the trigger, please field a few basic questions.
While hp/tq are the primary factors to consider, the next being $$...
Street manners are also important to many of us:
1. How's the idle? Just like stock, super lopy, slightly rough?
2. How's the fuel economy for street? Just like stock, 1mpg worse, 20mpg worse, give us a ballpark.

Any other incidentals you can think of to inform?

idles like stock
fuel economy..... here is the kicker.... will you drive it normally?

if so yes, it will get normal mileage but if you get into it like most expect to use more fuel

1. Stock Idle... no lope at all
2. Well, seeing as how most of the people with the cam at this point are pushing 250+ HP to the ground, fuel economy is the least of our concerns. I haven't noticed any change in fuel economy up or down. Cams allow more air into the engine. More air means more fuel. For a given RPM you'll probably not notice any drop in MPG (.2 MPG drop?). If you start hammering it, that gap will widen.

The majority of your gas milage concerns should come from your right foot!

If you're going to pull the valve cover and yank the cam, you're one third of the way to pulling off the rest of the head. Might as well throw in a new head while you're at it. You WILL NOT regret it...

1. Excellent on the idle.
2. Yes, I think I understand that my right foot is the primary contributing factor in fuel economy. I would expect my right foot to mysteriously become much heavier. Hammering it is fun already, and given the increased fun factor, I just might be hammering it a little more, just a little.
3. And yes, I kind of expected the response on the head too. In for a penny in for a pound, I guess would be appropriate here. So, is the sum of the parts equal more than the individual components? Does a cam(10hp) plus a head(10hp) equal combo(30hp) ? Yes, I know there is a tuning factor involved here, but you get the point.

First off, let me say that the cam + injectors was one of major noticeable performance upgrades I've done. I do have a "flicker" of lope, but nothing that bothers me. I did notice a bit of negative mpg, but that's mostly due to me putting my foot in it & laughing at the wicked acceleration. My tune put me back at net zero on the mpg issue. I would love to have thrown a head on the car while I was at it, but my car's taking the "show car" + "Sunday drive" route & won't see the track, so my money's going elsewhere on the car.
