If any of you are going to be at Speed Factory about the same time as me - 8am Friday - bring ear plugs. My car is a little on the loud side. Especially you, Jan.

There is also a small Russian place and a good sushi joint a little further down.
But - the club had a meet or two at a members restaurant downtown a couple times that has more than ample parking. It's only 10 minutes away...
Would that be the Varsity Grill (5 miles due east)? If that sounds good I can give Jeff a heads up. Can't speak to the "suds" selections.

My car is quiet with a great tone, I feel like sharing my exhaust photo! It's well used and dirty but functional. I would keep it clean but that's just too much for me. Two raw stainless Magnaflow 2 1/4'' in 3 chambered mufflers and two Magnaflow 2 1/2'' resonators with a 2 1/4'' sleeve.

14 on tap you say...

Im getting excited!

BTW if anyone coming on Friday is interested in some slightly used TSW springs or H-Sport camber plates, let me know. Letting them go for cheap :-)

I have a question for you all.......I just got my new 380 injectors and I am not sure I am going to find the time to install them before coming up for the tune, so I was wondering if anyone would want to help me install them once I show up on Fri? Or give me some advice on doing it myself. I have the Bentley manual, but I haven't done this before so I am a bit skeptical about trying it out before a long trip.

I'm going to throw mine in before the drive up. I figure we'll just take it easy and bring a spare set of plugs just in case.

I can help you. I'll bring my own tools, but I got permission to borrow their tools at the speedfactory just in case we need something. I will be in Seattle friday afternoon.

I just changed out my tensioner and plugs tonight. LESS THAN A WEEK GUYS!!!

You have new injectors too? What size will you be running?

How hard is it to replace the injectors?

I found some good threads on NAM on how to do it. The best tip was to locate the black cap on the drivers side end of the fuel rail that feeds the injectors. Inside is a Schrader type tire valve that releases the pressure on the system before you pull the fuel rail off. Just bleed off the fuel into a rag.

Install and clip all the injectors to the rail first. Use a couple drops of motor oil on the injector o-rings to help slide them into the intake manifold.

I have some bad news. I got backed into today in the work parking lot. Luckily the guy was nice enough to come in and give me his infos. I WILL be attending the tuning session if it means I have to tell his insurance to go F themselves for a day... I just won't be as pretty as usual lol.

The damage was hood/headlight only... lucky as those are pretty easily replaceable parts.

I went with the JCW 380's. It's all I need for now.

As I look at mine, I just see the tab with no hole showing at all. What does this mean? It's hard to believe I need a new belt at 23K miles with just a 15% pulley.

Shooler, it is important to get that taken care of or else Jan will send you home or to the parts store! It means you have the wrong belt or you need a new belt tensioner. It's a very common problem. I think you should be fine with a 537 belt or JCW since you only have a 15%.

Also, lift the fuel rail off evenly or you could crack the plastic on one of the injectors. This is important if you have to send them back as a core.

I am getting a new JCW belt installed this Wed, so I'll be good to go. As for the schedule, is the order of the names on sat the order of of tuning? I plan to be there early.
