What about these? Where can I find one? This is a little less obnoxious than the giant metal submarine parascope. I don't get it?...How does that work?

Click on the link and scroll down a bit. you'll see four pics, just click on one-

that you're just not appreciating the subtlety of design and function of the On-Whorizon (or however it's spelled) product design and marketing strategy!

Unfortunately Longboard got there before you did. So there is still evidence.

This a notice to cease and desist immediately. This induction system has already been covered by one of the On-Whoreizon engineers:

We wish you luck with your inferior product. We have found that counter clockwise rotation is the preferred and the most beneficial rotation for cars in the northern hemisphere. We should have plots and graphs to demonstrate these findings soon.

I thought only sharks were authorized to have friken' lasers.

To our loyal fanbois.....

We have had a rough couple of months here with the introduction of the R56 and Randy Webb's self-imposed exile.

See, in the early days of Mini tuning, a lot of us "idea" shops got our ideas from the Colorado Poodle. Randy made a 15% pulley out of aluminum, we made a 15.2% pulley out of tinfoil. Randy came up with the RAF, we, stole his idea and called it our own.....

Wait - that was someone else........my bad.

So with the exception of the the dude with a girls name and that guy in Philly who looks like Randy's shorter, uglier and gheyer twin, we are left trying to pilfer our ideas from the remaining detritus producing crap knockoffs for the Mini.

I mean after Webb's air box design was stolen and whored out to other vendors, even Jerry and I (who have no morals whatsoever) felt crappy about knocking off a knock off of a stolen idea. I mean, how low do you think we'll go?

So, once some real vendors start making some real products for the Mini, we will be forced to go back to our first love - crime scene photography and freelance phlebotomy.

Hope that helps!

I got my CAI at Home Depot for 20 bucks and some quality time with my Dad. Plexi, aluminum framing, some weather stripping, some nifty carbon-fibre-looking film and machine screws. There's a pic of it in my Gallery. Any feedback would be appreciated. Also, I've got a multi-meter with a thermometer lead on it...I'll let y'all know the temperature difference of In the Box vs. In the Bay.

It ain't modding unless it includes duct tape.

There may very well be some duct tape involved...if not, I'm sure there's some leakage (other than in my diapers) that can be remedied with a little bit of the good gray stuff...it holds the world togetha'. As for you Dr. Phil, ahem, "Psychic"; do tell...Is there going to be a difference in air temps or not?

Non-vendor response - nice job, bet you had fun w/ your dad. congrats.

NAM vendor response - clone , knock-off , another square box , no velocity stack , where's the dyno .

Knock Off? I'm flattered!! Another square box (as opposed to.....)? Evidently.
Ohhh, I forgot to mention that I also cut a 4 1/2" hole in the plastic cowling...lined with high speed adhesive cloth (yep...duct tape) to smooth the huge, new air mass coming in. I will say that mileage went up a couple miles per gallon on the freeway. So there.
