Congradulations!

That's what it's all about! How was the fit? I saw an early version, and the tips were not even with the Rear Valance. I really like the design and would probably buy one if this is resolved.
Start saving for the down pipe!!

Cheers,

Peter

If you fiddle with the hangars and such I bet you can get it level. My stock exhaust isn't even level lol.

The whole system can be completely adjusted to have the tips stick out as much (or as little) as you want. I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about...

Mine are pretty much flush with the rear bumper...

Maybe the lack of added performance is due to the fact that the 'ends are kinda not level'.
Please keep us updated on this issue.
They have dyno charts for almost all of their products on their website...

CHECK IT OUT

Wow, didn't mean to ruffle any feathers. I'm kinda **** about appearance as well. The pics in this post look really good to me. The first couple of shots for the R53 had one tip out further than the other. Something I personally didn't like. I do, however, like their design an awful lot. It makes a lot of sense to me. Unless I go for a track only car, looks will ALWAYS matter to me!

No feathers were ruffled, it's cool. I just wasn't sure what you were talking about.

I 100% agree, looks are very important, which is one of the many reasons I chose the ALTA system. The tips are the PERFECT size, and just look killer IMO.

rattmobbins: Thanks for jumping in here before me! I can confirm that the tip placement is up to the client. You can have it farther forward or backward. It is totally level when installed properly. Note: Stainless steel does "grow" a bit when hot, so you will notice the tips will be slightly farther out when HOT vs. COLD.

If anyone has any other questions PLEASE let me know.

Also, quick TEASE, we have a new tip design being tested as well as a new STEALTH series for the R56 and R53. Pics and info in the coming week. Final testing being done as we speak!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Adam, you folks going to do my request? I sure hope so. Looking forward to what you come up with your 'stealth series'.

Sounds sweet!!! I'll be ordering my ALTA cat back (possibly turbo back) exhaust at the end of this month. Can't wait to see what's in store.

Yep. In ALTA's case it offers you a 3" exhaust literally from the turbo outlet on back to the tips! Only caveat is the downpipe is pretty expensive and you're replacing OEM cats, which many don't like the idea of. However it adds even more power than the cat back alone and turns the volume up a good bit.

Good points! Wish we could get less expensive cats for the DP, but we need them to work properly and not cause CEL's. If they do go down in cost, then the DP will go down as well. Most expensive parts in the makeup of that item!

Yea, I know the price of those cats has to be incredulous. That's why although expensive, I don't deem the downpipe to be overpriced.

So getting back to the question already asked, will the new tips coming out be interchangeable with the older ones? Just wondering in case they aren't out by the time I place my order in a couple weeks.
