Working that angle right now! Has been sitting in LA for 6 weeks. We have the grand opening, and some other local things happening in the next couple weeks and I want my car now! I paid for it, so give it to me!!!!!!!

Oh well, either way no big deal. Just excited!

Boston is nice this time of year

 

Just got my ALTA cat-back installed and am loving it! Noticeable power gain up top, sweet look and a very nice sound.

Only about 30 miles on it right now, so I'm getting pretty strong fumes and the sound is a bit muted. Very excited to see how it 'opens up'.

Borla is nice, I've had Borla on 2 previous vehicles, but the ALTA sound is truly amazing. You won't regret it!

Plus the ALTA system is 3", the Borla is only 2.5". Not a huge deal if it's the only mod you make, but the more you do, the more you'll appreciate that extra 1/2 inch.

 

yeah, thats true. Im trying to find better clips of the alta catback without any other mods to get an idea of how it will sound but the only video i can find is on youtube with a DP as well... and im not very fond of the exhaust note in that video whereas the borla exhaust is plain music to my ears. I will still have to wait to see what the new tips look like though.

Yeah we came up with a new plan for the next year or so with late model MINI's. I will post in the CLubman section what happened!

 

oops, didnt realize they had a clip of the catback alone. for some reason i think it sounds a lot better with just the catback. The video with the UP sounds kinda farty.

Please get some more vids of just the catback!! The clip was too short to get a real feel for how it will sound. Some nice revving action would be nice as well!
