DT BPV, after-install, help!!

Hey guys i need some info... i just finished with the DT BPV, took the car for a ride, and once i came back and checked under the bonnet, i noticed that the engine was shaking more than the usual, so i turned off the car, and once i did that, i heard a blow sound (air i think) and then a sound just like an electric motor moving for a sec or two (all of this hapens just right after i turn off the car).... did i do something wrong?? ... i just checked every connection and everything looks ok... please help me!! :impatient

sounds like a blown gasket. I did that when I installed my OCC. The OCC hose was pichined.

But the blowing and electri motor sound are just when i turn off the car... and the only gaskets involve with the install, are the horn metallic gasket and the throttle o-ring, i dont think i damaged them during the install.

Could the blow sound be more of a air sucking sound from the intake? My old Pilo and now my JCW without the flap has this sound when I shut off the car. What kind of intake do you have?

i dont think so..
cuz the blowing sound was probably caused by excessive airs extracting from the intake and electric motor thinge, not sure on that but I do believe its normal cuz i've been hearing it on mine for a long long time..

Promini... ok i took my cell phone i recroded the TB/PBV area with it during the turn off... and the blowing sound is produced by the PBV... this is what i belive that happens... when i turn the engine off the PBV opens so the pressure (boost?) is relief.. thats what i belive that hapens... and the little engine moving sound come from that area i belive, i dont know from where exactly.

That sounds normal to me. My car makes those clicking sounds after turn off, even my Mercedes does that. I think it is the drive by wire throttle body makeing the clicking sound. The shaking is a bit weird, is it still doing that?

Here are some pics;

Stock 02 MCS Bypass Valve; i didn't have to push hard to move the little piston all the way up.
