New Rims! What Tires should I Buy?

Hi Guys!

I'm putting new rims ( 18x7.5 ). I want to put some performance tires, I don't care if they are not all-season. There are a lot of tires out there and I don't know which one to pick. Also what is the widest tire that I can fit on an 18x 7.5 rim?

Thank you!

I've heard great things about the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. They are probably the ones I'll replace my runflats with.

widest you can go or should go? 225 width is a proper match for that width. I've seen 245's mounted on non MINI's on 7.5's, but that's not wise for performance

I'm running those. Great in the rain.

My F1's tread melted off like butter. Never again for me.
