did I mention it's still not tuned?

the new benchmark is set
well, it comes tainted as we were lied to by Emil... he was told to put a stock map on the car and didn't. All we wanted was the raised rev limiter and he put some map he made on it. The car was running 13.5:1 under load and I told Danny right away it wasn't stock.

"We went back and to spent 3 days getting the a/f better so we could run for 250... now after we punch out 250 this "tooner" comes back and says its his custom map.... lol

You think he would pay for the engine if it blew up? I think we all know the answer to this question. Who would trust this guy to tune their car after that?"

Did the car start running lean after the RMW head was installed? Seems like the better flowing head would make the car run leaner.

So the car had custom software before your head and redone again with another custom flash, after your head was installed?
Sorry this thread has become "gray"

What's hard to understand is that your post that started this thread was that it made 251 with no tune and it sure looks like at that time you knew it was tuned and just failed to mention that. If that is true it stinks.

This is why we don't understand Jan...everyone has a different story...Don't you find that strange? I just don't understand why Emil would lie and tune a car if he wasn't getting paid for it...Just trying to clear things up not start crap...sorry if you see it that way -- Johan

I can't control what Vitesse put on the car, I wanted a stock map with raised rev limit. What ended up being put on the car was something completely different and dangerous for the car. When I posted "untuned" it was "BELIEVED" to be untuned. I took him for his word.

What was it a joke he was pulling on you, that doesn't make any sense why would he do that?. Wouldn't he be looking for RMW tuning business? So why would he do it please explain.

Who are you calling the Jesus camp? Do you mean the guys with big grins on their face .

The problem with defending yourself when your called a liar is that people think you are just lying to cover your tracks. It's a no win situation and worth responding to.

Good question, it seems none of them actually know what the deal is. They should all have discussed this before the thread was posted, at least they would have been on the same page, whether they were telling the truth or not.
Who you gonna believe now?
