Maybe, but I wouldn't put any money on it.

Another thing I don't quite understand...

From Longboard's 231whp thread, he states in post #15 the mods on his car when he pulled that number...

And a big smile

did I mention it's still not tuned?

the new benchmark is set
So, a "decked out" RMW car with "a few new mods" and a rev limit of 7800rpm only made 20 more WHP than Longboard's car with the RMW head and basic bolt on mods?
Am I missing something?

Seems it was still not tuned. And according to your "Guru" of tuning, this "makes all the differance".

+1 So I'm not the only one that's confused...Plus how a stock ECU is 7000, Danny's car was 251 un-tuned, then it was tuned, no it wasn't, yes it was, well it wasn't supposed to be, it was a bad tune, now it's un-tunned at 218

Any way it's all in good fun and has really bought out some good R&D from vendors and a better products to the consumer.

my car was NOT tuned just a raised rev limit. that 4whp to me is weather change and with my stock flash my torque and hp come on a lot sooner. you guys are more then welcome to come to the dyno day at Autowave on Aug. 11 and see my car pull the 250. I have not seen one mini on the dyno that doesn't spray the intercooler for added horsepower i pulled that 250 in 100 degree weather. lets end this drama he said she said stuff.

Danny’s ecu has one of my custom programs on it and it is far from a stock program with just a raised rev limiter.

I tuned Danny’s car on a dyno roughly around two months ago with his previous setup (Other vendor ported head) and if memory serves right it did register slightly over 200whp on his first dyno run even thought his engine was not healthy. I also made further adjustments with his New setup about 1.5 – 2 weeks ago.

Danny’s flash is similar to what MarioKart runs on his car for comparison sake. Mario made just about 234 WHP with a 17% pulley @ 7600 rpms the Other tuner’s stg2 head (stock crnk shaft pulley) and Danny made 235 WHP with a 19% pulley @ 7800 rpms (I think also stock crnk shaft pulley).

The tune on Danny’s car has not been finalized. There is room for improvement.

Dan, I think it would be easier to take it to the strip because know one is going to believe any dyno sheet now wrongly or rightly if you see what I mean even if their there.

The strip is a very hard one to argue against and I think thats why there's never much discussion if anyone post a time because there is nothing to argue about it, it is what it is once you know the weight of the car.

NHRA Sport Compact meeting at Pomona sounds like the best date of all Oct 20-21

It could be the Mini meet of the year, bring what you've got and hope you've got enough............No Cry Babies

There are two posts that say two very different things, what's the truth. There are people that are or looking to spend money with you guys they ought to know what they are getting. Alot of these posts sound like there is magic involved.
