OK, I went to the dyno today and like I promised I am sharing the info.
first let me say that the last time I dyno'd my car at this shop was Oct 06 and the temp. was 70 degrees. The car out down 186.6hp 166.3 tq. Today it was 95 degrees and 90% humidity. that being said, heres what happened.
1st run 203.5 hp 170tq. sprayed the dfic with cold water and let sit for ten minutes.
2nd run 203.1 hp 170 tq. dfic was heat soaked so I sprayed with lots of cold water and let sit with fans on it for about an hour.
3rd run 205.8 hp 170.2 tq. Total hp gain 19.2 Total tq gain 3.9
called Jan to let him know the results and he asked what plugs I was running and when I told him stock he that the car must have been pulling timing because I should be running colder plugs. he is shipping them out to me today. Well at least I know my but dyno is pretty good as I posted earlyer that it didn't feel like 39hp.
I wil install the new plugs when they get here and try to dyno again on a 70 degree day to get a better delta.
I thing i find the most confusing(sp?)is how I can gain 19 hp and only 4ftlbs tq?

If you were pulling timing, it should manifest itself on the dyno graph in the form of little peaks and valleys, as the ECU retards timing. The curve will not be very smooth. Do you see something like this example?

Since the equation HP = tq*RPM/5252 always holds true, I would guess that you're hitting your peak torque at a lower RPM than the previous pulls done in Oct. 06?

I don't know if it would account for the entire 19HP, but if he increaced the redline you could see more HP with no Tq increase (max happened at a lower RPM)
Pm me for email add if you need the help .Randy

I don’t know if you’re exaggerating or not but 90% humidity can equate to as much as a 20% difference in performance, although lower percentages like 15% would be more of the norm compared to dry conditions. Not considering all the variables associated with inertia dynos this kind of disparity between different MINIs and the same MINI on different days is indicative of tuning realities. I wouldn’t sweat the dyno numbers too much; it’s a shame so much value is placed on them for comparative purposes. What were your AFRs?

I'm not exaggerting on the humidity, I live on the east coast in Md and we get really high humidity along with 95 degree days. Im sure any one in Md or the east coast would verify that

It all depends on the smoothing factor they have it set on.
sweet. nice to see a car making good power in conditions that I see here all the time. 90% hum. at 96 when I was playing some paintball this last weekend. not all that pleasant.
p.s. 420th post for me.

It does look like it cut off right before 7k but it's hard to tell.
Tuner thing not dealer.
what im surprised about is the afr with the JCW injectors! from what ive read the stock ecu will run super pig rich with the 380's.

How does stock software go past 6800 RPM? Don't you have to change or tune something in the ECU in order for this to happen?
When I talked to John, he said it was stock software
I have seen scaling affect the chart before. I wasn't there so I can't comment
