I think they only run 1 hour 20 mins on Friday.

I will register toward the end of next week.

 

Hardly worth the drive over for that amount of time.

 

You are starting to sound like someone I know real well. That ia why I would like to do two days. Saturday they will run two plus hours I'm the morning in two groups only. Get signed off and it is worth it.

 

Emailed DJ about how Patroon's plans to run things at LRP. Basically it will be the same as the Longest Day at WGI, if you are not already cleared for OT. Get signed off on Friday, pay the balance and drive on Saturday. While this may not be a big deal for you guys, who have OT experience, us newbies have to think of these things. So, it looks like I am "a go" for Friday and we will see what happens for Saturday.

 

A little bummed...DJ responded that I didn't get an advance sign off for OT on Saturday. So I am signing up for Friday and will see if they sign me off then...I guess that is what I get for doing a pirouette in the middle of T1 at WGI

 

It's all part of the learning curve...

I meant one where we can make the rules and sign offs. Party is on...just keep in mind you guys are old and have to get up early Saturday morning, if you got signed off.

 

You know if we have the rule book, we will be real strick old f*rts about it and beat up everyone for every infraction.

S-Driver is right, as usual. I never used the word 'free'. This is high season in the Berkshires. I usually double my room rates for August, plus this is a HUGE track weekend. I hear drivers are coming from all around to get in on this open track thing. Do you guys want to share a room or pay the single surcharge?

Ok, how much doggie vegan snacks do Eddie and I have to bring to stay in the main house. I am bringing my tent just in case.

Back on topic, it looks like the schedule has changed. Now a full day Friday, and half day Saturday. Don't know if it is AM or PM half day. I emailed DJ to see if I could get signed off without going on Friday. Haven't heard back yet.

 

Np, I will take the scion motel and Eddie can have the classic mini motel.

Why don't you just do two days like us normal track junkies. Two days is better than one.

Oh no, the dog always sleeps in the best room in the house. I've got my priorities straight. I'm only up for one day based on my tires, and the chance of getting two very hot days back to back...tough on the car, and the driver.

 

According to s-driver, they are not toast till you see the cords. Lots of cords.

The cost of the 1/2 day Saturday morning is $325. Both days is $500. I did the math. And with a place to stay for the price of a few bags vegan dog biscuits, I am in. And I will have a new best friend as well.
