Microfiber Towels

Just got my shipment of 20 Microfiber towels. They seem to be very good quality. Has anyone else purchased from Microfiber Products Online?

Now it is time to use them

Sam's Club has bundles of what I consider very good quality MF towels. No scratches yet from them. They are 25 towells for under $12. I have probably 50 towells in my rotation. Use one for the bonnet, get another, get another, get another, I use about 10 to 12 per wash. Throw them in the washer and dryer and keep on motoring.

I'm torn on the platinum ones. I like them but I feel like the "fluffy" side gets nappy and sort of catches on stuff - like my fingers. It's odd.

I used them to remove Epic last week though and it went okay. There's just something weird about them that I can't put my finger on.

WOW that's a good price. I will have to check them out next time I am at Sam's But sheesh, 10-12 towels to dry I can usually get er done with one MF waffle weave & 1 Monster fluffy for final touches

yah, that happens to me too in the winter time when my hands are
dry (and somewhat cracked). but the benefits of it being so fluffy
vs the griot's detailing MF towels, the platinums are far better for the
paint cause it has more capacity to hold dust away.

You're right... high quality, split-end microfiber like the Platinum can feel "odd" and many people notice this, especially if their hands are at all dry. Unfortunately, it is this same "odd" feeling that is also responsible for the Platinum's ability to really grab particles well (like wax & polish, etc). The superior grabiness of Platinum is why I call it my "workhorse" microfiber. It is grabier than the Monster Fluffy and most other microfibers and thus ultimately the most effective at its job- especially when used with heavier products like polish and sometimes wax!

So, that fluffy side that catches on your fingers is also your best workhorse.

That said, I know it feels wierd despite my effectiveness explanation!

Since I have a stack of them and I use a spray on wax, it is just easier and quicker for me to just grab another one. I'm surely using more than I need to, but I don't care.

I've had my MINI for about six months and I have to look really hard up close and get the light just right to see any micro scratches. But again, I don't drive in the salty, gritty hinterlands like a lot of you guys do. I'm sure it would be a dif story if I did.
