you will buy it, try it and find out how much work and dedication is
needed to make a car look real nice and decide you will need to go to
www.detailersparadise.com and order Hydro and still come out with
better results.

While I really like Costco ... try reading autopia.org to get some ideas from the people who do this all the time ... or the detailing experts here.
yep, it's amazing how wet the finish looks and how long the wax (hydro)lasts... so easy to apply too.
IMO, the price is not bad for what you get. You will probably spend more money for tools (mitts, applicator, brushes, MF towels, wash bucket, etc.) if you buy them separately. I am not a big fan of the silicone blade for drying the car so you can either toss it or use on a beater car for quick drying. The clay kit and car wash is usable. I am just not sure about the polish as I have no experience with the product.
You can certainly buy this kit and add MF towels, extra 5 gal. buckets (for 2 bucket wash), gritguards, and yeah .....PRIMA stuff and you're set.

Its not a bad place to start, much of that stuff is usuable, but maybe not the best out there. 5 gallon buckets are cheap, grit gaurds are cheap too...I think I ordered mine from US plastics for under 30. Call Griots Garage or DP about getting a starter setup. I know Griots has the basic wash, clay, Speedshine, wheel cleaner and wax for around 50 dollars.
the price is not bad if you use up everything... most of the time people will
either start off and keep their cars clean for a month or two and either get
bord of it (too tiresome) or get better products (brainwashed
).
which ends up with such mediocre products just dying on the shelf either case.
if you think about that, i would start with a bottle of car wash, a nice
bucket, a decent wash mitt, one waffle weave MF drying towel, and
Hydro.

I give this thing my approval. decent products, covers all bases, all items compatible. Lots of car people into mother's stuff. Price for one shot gets all is very nice.
I spent like 400 bux this year on stuff. I bet youll need more of the soap and maybe a lot of quick detailer, but that can be fixed at another point.
