I got that good bug stuff at an OSH in the moutains...I should have brought it back home with me. I'll have to check and see if they have any at the OSH here before I spring for the Griot's. The only reason either of them appeal to me is that they're a clear liquid instead of the cream formula most bug removers are.

The bug off does look cool. However, if i were doing Xcrountry stuff I would be looking at that spray on bra, thats stuff is sweet!
ooo~ that sounds good. I too have a couple of CD's that i need
to remove scratches on. not sure how the heck these scratches
got on there just from setting it on the shelf. going to
polish it out with that plastic polish.

ive had good luck with DP's Wizard BugRelease if you're looking for
something easy to spray on just before the wash. that BugOff looks
good, but not sure how well it lasts through rain... say you spray it on,
then suddenly drive through a monsoon, then suddenly it's sunny and
bugs everywhere.... i doubt that BugOff is going to do much good
in that situation. never know in xcountry. ive had 80F to snow to 90F
from chicago - LA trips.

so i tried the griot's plastic polish using a fresh griot's cotton towel and
did the black plastic trim piece right behind the driver's side window.

cleared up the haze very nicely. i put some SprayOn wax on it
to hide the very mild haze that resulted from the towel. doh... no biggie,
guess i'll need to use my foam pad next time.

man that size 8 rubber shoe is still kinda on the big side... wth. im
wearing size 9.5 piloti's...

quick review on these rubber washing shoes...

as posted earlier, they are like 2 sizes bigger than the advertised size so
make sure you order at least one size smaller.

the shoes themselves are molded pretty well, a quality product.
i could've used some more support on the heel of the shoe
so it doesn't flap around so much when i walk. i can't walk around
my car quickly due to this flappage... perhaps i needed to go another
size smaller.

i also lost about 10mm of the heel height so my cargo pants are
slightly dragging the driveway when i wash.

so to conclude... you get to keep your socks nice and dry as advertised.
but now my pants are soaked from the heel. so have to roll the
bottom of the pants looking like im working in some flood.

since i walk around the car very quickly when i wash (i hate
washing cars) im not sure if i'd be using this thing too often.
will give it a couple more tries to break in the shoes.

That's what I wear for car-washing...they have straps that you can flip around to the back so they don't slip.

I like to wash the car barefoot though, so I wear the girlie kind with holes.

And they have knee pads and kneelers, too!

ML, scurves- wat do you guys think about this wash mitt mop? (new)

i might get this even though i don't have a suv or minivan. the Legacy is
pretty tall (even the civic is pretty tall vs my other cars). i have the
griot's wash bucket which can easily accomondate this long mitt.

Pretty cool? it's only $30...

It looks cool....lot better than a brush!

I've been searching for Crocs sandals today. No one online has the styles I want in the colors I want in my size :(

yah, im not too fond of those boar's hair brushes to do body panel paint
as i have tested it before and it caused hazing even when the brush is
wet. im okay with them to wash my wheels though.

i might try that mop thingie when it comes out. i think it will shave
off a good 2-3 min in the shampoo app process as i won't have to
bendover/squat to do the lower panels too. plus i wont have to get
my shirt wet either when i do the roofs... not that i really care, but why
work hard when there are efficient tools available?

hummm.... this time of year i think most of the stores are already out of
stock of those cool croc's...

Isnt the mop thingy already out?

Opps, checked the web site, looks like its on BO for a while. I got the larger Micro Fiber Mop and really like it around the Apt. I love that my family knows me well enought to get me garage cleaning stuff for my apt.

scurves- this new mop is for the car (for shampooing)... basically substitues
for the traditional MF wash mitt.

I know, but it appears to be the same poll but smaller head than the floor mop. I love the idea of not putting my hand in the cold water in the winter.

is that pole thread the standard size? I might just order the mop head
cause i got a plastic mop pole at home that i don't usually use.

Not sure, maybe. I have been tempted to order those because of the soles they have. Varient or something. My hiking boots have those and they are great! 5 miles yesterday and my feet are not sore. Wish i could say the same for my legs.

I'd like some driving shoes...but then I think "who am I kidding, I drive an automatic". Really, my Pumas would be fine if I decided I need "driving" shoes.

I want a set of these:

And I REALLY want this:

but not for $99.99 :( But I seriously cannot QUITE reach the center of the roof of my MINI. It'd be handy...

well, im going to be using the buffaloII's on my legacy mostly and it's an
AT. i think you probably already know but i hate torque converters how
it spins down and loose pressure, positive momentum on the flywheel.
i like to keep the flywheel in the positive momentum side as much as
possible which requires precise throttle input control. so don't kid
yourself, AT or not, driving shoes can help make your AT driving more
enjoyable.

that ramp is cool. i made an extension on my generic rhino ramps cause
my G is low and long on the front.

that ladder is too tall for MINI's. i have one without the ledge. it's great
for SUV's and minivans though. instead, get a cheap step stool
preferably ones with a cutout hole in the center to make it real easy
to pickup. I got mine from Target and it's been fanatastic.
