Thank you for the leather spray update!
thanks. i think i will try those rubber shoes and also that new
cargo anti-slip bookend looking things. should do great on our Legacy. :nod;

i think you're going to like LeatherCare Spray. it's very nice and easy to use.

Anyone know what wire size terminals are included in this package?
I sent an email to Griots a few days ago but i think they went out on their holiday.
im ready to place my next order and want to know if i should get my own terminals
separately or get this set.

i particulary use 14-16awg the most for car electronics. i just bought
a bunch of terminals today at Autozone, but for next time...

http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?&SKU=77036

im going to get some non-detailing goodies again like that trunk cargo
holder thingie, rubber car wash shoes, piloti monaco's, and some other
garage goodies like this cabinet/drawer thingie.

Let me go look, I totally forgot!

*runs to garage*

Okay, it's not in it's normal spot and I can't find it. I'll have to check with hubby when he gets home. He must have taken it to work or something.

I've been giving all my "inferior" free Griot's stuff to my brother-in-law

Which is actually really dumb, because I just end up bringing all my stuff over to his house to detail his Volvo anyway...

Eureka!

OKAY! I found it.

The reason I couldn't find it is because ours is the the black one - all that time and it's not the one you wanted! We have this one:

Anyway, there are...*counts* like 18 different kinds of terminals in here. However, I can't tell the sizes (?)...there are assorted sizes of crimp lugs, male, female, and regular butt connectors, coated ring lugs, fork connectors, some push-on connectors, and a couple of things that I can't identify.

Then there's small and large zip-ties each in black, white, red, blue, and yellow. And assorted bus, mini blade, and regular blade fuses. And then two pairs of crimpers/strippers (one smaller, one larger). And a fuse puller/checker thing.

Hubby says other than wire, he couldn't imagine what else someone would need that's not in this one. But the other one you want is all terminals, so that's probably less than helpful.

So at least if someone's interested in this one, that's what's in it

thanks, melissa and your hubby.

you can kinda tell (well, at least i can since i work on cars all the time) how
big of a wire the terminals can handle just by looking inside where the bare
wires go into. (you dont have to do it, i was just saying). griots never
got back to me... i think they use watever's available. i better just get
the box and terminals separately from my local electronics parts store.

good thinking to packup the prima gear for your Phoenix trip!

The sizes seem sort of random...like 3 or 4 sizes of each type.

i think i'll get the box from griots and get the terminals separately.

im planning my next griots purchase right now to get the fastener
2 drawer cabinets and the rubber slipper shoes that are a better fit
to my feet. the last one was huge... im a size 9, ordered size 9 and
turned out to be huge...like size11. my monaco's in 9.5 were
fine. (can't wait for father's day. ) so returned the size9 last
week.

also ordering some of their plastic polish. anything else i should toss
in my shopping cart?

Yah, I did see that new heatgun. but I have a pretty good one. Bugoff sounds good for you cause you do all that xcountry driving.

Hummm, kinda looks like this:

1) Fastener cabinet with 2 drawers.
2) Rubber shoes size8(?)
3) Plastic polish
4) Free 8oz window cleaner

Not a big order. need to buy more tools at sears over the weekend.

Still more than i can afford to order. I did get the plastic kit last week, going to try it on some DVD's.

The bug off does look cool. However, if i were doing Xcrountry stuff I would be looking at that spray on bra, thats stuff is sweet!
