ICE is nice!!

I waxed my car with Turtle Wax ICE today. This stuff works really good. It's a little expensive but the whole bottle will last at least 30 wax jobs. It's easy to use and only took about 15 minutes to wax the whole car. And the best part, it actually makes the black trim look good and leaves no white residue!

I'd be interested in seeing a shot of the black trim in a few days. I'm thinking white wax residue.............

Nooo Ken, when you run out of NXT get some M21!!!! It's better than NXT and it's still Meguiar's. You can get a small bottle from AutoDetailingSolutions.com while I still buy the 64OZ jugs cause I love it!

It doesn't make the trim white. But I still mask off because the M80 paint cleaner I use will make it white.

Maybe CynMini will trade me some ICE for M21 and we can both compare??

I can vouch. I used NXT last year and switched to ICE this year. It does not make the black plastic bits white. The only downside (if you even want to call it a downside) is that the haze is not as visible after you appy it to the car. I think I can live with that for not having to mask off the black bits.

I waxed my car again today with Ice...

This time I didn't let it dry as long and it is a lot easier to get off. Here are some pictures, they are not very good. I wish I could learn to post nice big pictures. It was cloudy when I took the pictures and you can kinda see the clouds in the paint.

I'll try it! Hey richard, are you going to the Historic races in Monterey? How come they don't sell NXT Speed Detailer by the gallon?

I tried it for the first time yesterday and (so far) liked the results. No residue on the black molding, and a nice shine. I am withholding a full verdict until I can see how it lasts over time.

Turtle Wax ICE... I'm all over it. Just have to find it. I'd wax more often if I didn't have the black trim to avoid. Great news, thanks for the post.

Used it on my new Tocoma. Easy to use for sure, but I had to reapply it after the first wash. We'll see how well it holds up this time. I have a feeling I'll be going back to Zaino.

^^ you mean the ICE wears off in one wash? ouch...

NXT lasts at least 6 washes or 8-10 QuikD apps.

To be fair to ICE, it may be my Mr. Clean Autodry system that kills it. I am going to try washing w/o Mr. Clean to see what happens.
