ICE is nice!!
I went and got some ICE yesterday and layed some up on one half of the Bonnett and layed my normal P21S up on the other side .Bonnett washed and dried of course.
Application = ICE easier
Removal = Same for both
Touch = ICE ( very slightly ) more Slippery
Look = Same for both
Duration = Will have to wait on that one .Probably have to go by Washes (NXT wash soap) as its a little dry here in my part of Florida at the moment.

Will update Later
I tried Ice 2 weeks ago on my brand spankin new MINI and my 10 year old 4Runner. Very easy to use on both and verrry slippery smooth.
Meguiar's is better at hiding scratches scratches on the 4Runner, but Ice is nice as I don't have to worry about the plastic bits plus it is sooo easy to use.

Finally found some and the detail spray as well. Going to give it a try tomorrow. Are you guys just applying it on top of your existing wax/polish or are you doing the Dawn thing and stripping it down first?

I just spent the afternoon detailing my '01 PT Cruiser. Up until this point I have only used Zaino on it, but wanted to do something quick and readily available since the PT is soon to be my teenage son's car and he will be doing the upkeep from now on.
I used ICE and NXT (ICE on hood and roof, NXT on sides and hatch)
Not sure if it's because I'm in the south, but the ICE went on like baby oil, which was odd and never "dried to a haze" so I finally wiped it off after about 20-30 minutes. It came off like baby oil, too, so I'm not sure if there is even any on the car. Guess I'll have to wait for the next rain.
Then NXT went on more like I'd expect and did dry in about 15 minutes. Buffed off beautifully.
I can't tell by just looking where one product ends and the other begins, so they did a similar job in that respect.
Guess I'll have to report back on how they each perform and hold up.

My opinion is this stuff is like RainX for paint but it shines up very nice. When I did my car it never really hazed up and needed to be buffed a little to get the nice shine. The finish looks very shiney but not as smooth as NuFinish. Very easy to do and works awsome on the plastic.

(And maybe I should try some baby oil on my trim...I already have used peanut oil!)

Question - does clay baring come into the picture and if so at which stage?
After wash, clay bar, then Ice?

I like it because not only does it leave no white residue, it removed the white residue from the last stuff I used.
While $15 seemed expensive at first, I've polished my 69 Chevelle and my MINI and the bottle is almost completely full. It'll last a looong time. I don't believe you can say you've "waxed" your MINI after using it. Wax it ain't.
We have had quite a bit of rain over the past couple of weeks and I have washed Bruiser a total of 3 times including today .
I went ahead and went over the whole car with ICE and it looked great and felt like velvet to the touch . I believe that the underlying Klasse twin Application last year is the result of the similar results . Middle of next month is the annual strip down . Dawn / Clay / AIO / Glaze with a topper of ????????? does the ICE take over from the P21S ??????? .to be honest I don`t know ,but I will keep on reading here for others results.
It has also been about 30 days since using Ice on both my MINI and my 4Runner, and I just did my 4rd wash of each car yesterday. Both cars are still pretty slippery and the shines are still awesome
.
I have some lite scratches on the boot from where I tried to clean the stains from the "leakage" from my rear washer jet (I had to drain the tank and replace the fluid with 75% water and 25% cleaner...man what is in that stuff
) and noticed that the ICE didn't do anything to help hide the scratches like NXT does.
Outside of that, I am pretty sold on ICE as it:
- Is verrrry easy to use
- You can use it on the black bits without the getting white "fungus" look
- A little goes a long way. After waxing both cars, the bottle still looks full.
- I don't get any of those little wax bits when I wipe the ICE off.
- The finish is super slick
Sooo
for ICE

Is this a good price for the ICE? $30, and comes with the polish, detail spray, an applicator and a towel.

Did my 05 BRG MCS today. I have been using NXT but today I started from the beginning. Claybar, Mequires cleaner wax, NXT then ICE to finish it off. All I can say is WOW. envn my 14 year old daughter remarked as to how slippery the car is. ICE went on easy and came off just as easy. Had to buff a bit to get the shine.
My MINI is gargew kept, but I hate the road dust that settles on the boot after a ride. HAve been dusting it off each time. I want to see how the ICE effects the dust accumulation.

Well ICE is on the Mini and the Titan. Going to give it a test drive over the next month or two. If it dies before 60 days is out I think I am going back to Zaino.
Does go on easy but is a bit hard to get off, never really hazed over and seemed to smear around.

I've also been testing this and although it's still early, I like what I see
I've used just about everything from the old paste wax in a tub to the newer liquid synthetics such as Zaino. I was using a base of 5 coats of Zaino and then a few top coats of NXT and then the standard spray detailer every few days. A weekly or more wash and another coat of NXT every other month or when needed. Then, twice a year I take it all off, clay the car and start again.
roll: Yes I know, to some it might look like I need help
Anyway, I went out today to wash and put another coat of ICE on, I only have 2 coats currently on the car. But after washing, I figured why put another coat on when it already looks like this:

My 02 with 100,000+ miles
Things I really like:
1. We live in the back woods & our driveway is gravel - so lots of boot dust. Well with the ICE the stuff can't get a grip, so the build up takes longer and what does accumulate comes off very easy with a car duster.
2. I love the fact that you can put it on without the worry of getting in on the trim. I do wonder why they caution you about getting it on the glass?
3. It's going to last forever; I've done my car twice, wife's car twice and the above pictured Yukon once and the bottle looks the same
The Cons:
1. Doesn't cover scratches well.
2. Doesn't make the old wax marks disappear on the trim - so take care of those first. They will require touch-up more often.
3. Even though the bottle says you can apply it in the sun, don't! The dry time is greatly reduced (ya, no duh) and the amount of buffing is greatly increased.
I don't plan on getting rid of my other polishes or waxes just yet. I still can't get my mind to believe that I'm getting the same level of protection with what feels like such a light weight material. So I plan on using the NXT (although not as often) and topping it with the ICE.

$30 is too much. AZ has it for 14.99 and the detailer is 9.99. Of course they didn't have it at when I went looking, so I went to K-mart and paid more

Only one week ?? was it the Ice QD or the Ice polish ??

The QD lasts about a week, the Ice polish is supposed to last for months.
Now that it's been a while since this post, can anyone chime in with how long the Ice POLISH holds up ?
Thanks,
