Blow Dry my Coop

Yesterday, I washed was my '04 Coop S. As I was about to grap my towel to dry it I noticed my Toro electric leaf blower was on my garage floor already plugged in. I gave it a good thhought and said what the heck. I picked it up started to blow dry my car from the top down. After inspection I conclude I wll be blowing from now on. No swirl marks, no chance of scratching, no water marks (even on the glass). and it gets blows out water where the cloths can't get to like the inside the side mirrors and all the joints.

My wife thinks I'm a fanatic but if it gives good results why not.

I've been doing this too with my 08' and have had good results, it still needs a bit of a final wipe down but it works at getting the majority of the water off the car.

When I wash I usually final rise with the hose just flowing freely and that gets off a good percentage of the water then followed by blowing the rest of it off with my shop vac.

Your right though, the best part is it gets the water out of all of the cervices that you cant otherwise get to.

I have been doing this for about 5 years. I get a lot of strange looks but it is very effective.
I quickly blow the vast majority of the water off and out of all of the hiding places then finish with what turns out to be a quick wipe down with Hydro.
Blow drying is much quicker, safer for the paint and I use a lot less Hydro.

I do this also, but besure the drive way is swept or you'll just end up blowing dirt, and bits of rock and such onto the car!

I used my leaf blower on my bikes and cars for years (in the garage....because as mentioned above you need to be careful outside because of the dirt on the ground). Then I finally broke down and bought a Master Blaster (it blows hot air so it actually dries instead of just blowing the water around/off, most bike shops use them for that reason). They're a bit pricey, but what a difference. You can usually find them on ebay a bit cheaper. masterblaster

A Car Vacuum (Stinger) that is a vacuum on one end and a blower on the other, like mine, can be used as well.

Yep, I have the Metro in my garage and use it to dry off after a wash. It's a great vacuum, too!
Here's the one I have.
