Reaching the Roof to use PC?

I am 5'6" and while I can reach every part of the roof when I am washing/applying hydro or slick, I will not be able to use the PC properly.

I am thinking small ladder will do the trick but any "positional" tips?

I watched OctaneGuy's DVD and... no roof (at least not attached the the car).

I'm 5'-7", and I use a small one step folding ladder. I have been thinking of getting/making a one foot tall work platform, that would be about 4' long, then you could work half the roof at a time.

i just use a small single step stool. target has a nice plastic white one
with a hole in the middle you can pick the thing up with. very convenient.

you dont want to go too high on the stool cause then you'll have to
bend over quite a bit and will make it kinda hard to push down on the
pc while you're polishing.

I'm 5'1 and I can barely dry my roof properly.

A friend and I saw this at Bed Bath & Beyond the other day and I'm probably going to pick one up this weekend. It's made of some pretty heavy-duty plastic and it should fit in the boot!

I was at BBB this weekend and eyeing that as well! Although the one I saw seemed shorter (wondering if they are going to let me take it to the MINI and "try it on")

A stool or platform scaffold combined with the OneGrip on a PC and you'll be all set!

A very old picture of me on my favorite scaffold--$75 at Amazon right now.

i have a similar ladder but it's been collecting dust.

a small step stool imho is the way to go unless you have a SUV/Minivan
or something huge. also a knee pleaser from Griot's is always nice to do
the lower areas.

I do need to get a OneGrip and some housing bolts though.

I got some shopping to do!

He's not kidding either. The stuff I ordered from SCD arrived days before stuff I ordered from Griot's the very same day, and the Griot's warehouse is only a state away (versus half the country).

Haha thanks for the kind words. I try! As long as the items are in stock, and I'm not so overwhelmed that I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack..which is quite often these days..I'll process the orders as fast as humanly possible.
