JCW Pro Coilovers... on a Justa

So, I want to install the JCW Pro coilovers on my Justa... but I wanted to know how many hours of labor the installation would require, and what would be considered a good hourly labor rate?

Second issue is the following: I'm getting pushback from my dealer's parts department who is saying they cannot order the part since MINI USA is saying it is only for the F56 Cooper S. Now, I've been hounding them for a few months, and they reached out to a MINI USA rep who is telling them the reason it is CooperS-exclusive is due to a structural difference in the roof?

This made no sense to me, since every other suspension option can be optioned on either model (standard, sport, DDC, any number of aftermarket coilovers including the KW V1s the JCW Pro kit is based on). So what do you guys think? Just marketing BS? Perfectly safe to install on a Justa? Is there anyone out there already running this set up? I'd heard rumblings that it was offered for the Justa in Europe, but I can't seem to find anything online.

Anything you guys think I should be concerned about? Thanks in advance for the help!

If it looks like it, smells like it, tastes like it,
my guess is that it must be Bs

One shell suits all,
Time to rub his nose in his own Bs

Thanks, that's gonna be useful ammo for me!

Anyone have ideas on total hours of labor and hourly rate for the install of the coilovers?

We charge 3 hours at $95/hour for the job. If your dealer won't sell you the parts, call your friendly neighborhood MINI specialist and we'll take care of you.

There's no difference in part numbers for the body-in-white between Cooper, MCS, and JCW. Your dealership is ignorant and apparently unable to effectively use their own parts system.

3 hours for coilover install labor sounds spot-on.

I very much enjoy my JCW Pro coilovers. They make the car feel like a proper MINI. The ride is slightly firmer but never harsh. The handling is fantastic. Of course the lowered ride height is a major plus. Money well spent.

It will work, post up some pics when you get it installed and lowered.
