Removes Web Radio as far as I can tell. Trying to force us to use TuneIn I think. As a displaced Philadelphian, not being able to hear sports radio in the morning is a disappointment to say the least.

 

I cant get my galaxt s6 to connect to my car to try and use the app.

 

Oh? That's worrisome. I use Web Radio daily! I hope my favorite stations will all be found there, too, or at least that I can manually add streams, if not.

 

There are a lot of angry reviews in the iTunes App Store.

Well, just so long as the iOS app works flawlessly. :-P

 

Use the iHeartRadio or whatever app streams the sports station you were listening to, and just stream over bluetooth. Now you don't even have to plug your phone into the car, just leave it in your pocket.

 

So, I tried it. Everything works, including the calendar and whatnot, except I can no longer switch apps or let the screen go blank. That was a nice recent addition, but it's gone (again).

 

There are other solutions and I have iheartradio as well. But I really wanted to be able to use the navigation features of iTunes that only work properly (for me at least) if my iPhone is plugged into the USB port.

After playing with the MINI Connected app for a bit, I found it to be a pretty buggy piece of kit. Hope they figure it out.

 

It's a lot buggier than it was in the previous iteration, no doubt! What kills me is that they removed the ability to lock the screen or use other apps while Connected is running in the background. What a step backward!!!
