Must be summer, busy here
That may be tough since dye is, well dye. I use Four Star and totally like it for dirt on leather, but dye - who knows.
I think I have some Meguiers leather cleaner/conditioner at home, I should give that a whirl

Hey ML! It was great seeing you at MM. You know what's sad about that baby caterpillar? After we got all packed up to leave, my son was like---Where did the caterpillar go??? We found him...seems he got flattened during the whole commotion of loading up the MINI. Poor little green guy.
Yeah it was insanely hot, and the pollen wasn't too fun either, although it wiped off pretty easily, but still it's everywhere.
I modified my Nuvi mount---I put it on the other downtube and it's positioned sooo much better now. I think it's going to stay there--it's pretty much optimal now.
I spent the day trying to catch up on orders that I missed during the past week. OOooh, yesterday we stopped by the Jelly Belly factory---that was pretty fun. Anyone ever tried Vomit flavor Jelly Belly's? Uhm, I passed.
Today I purchased an LCD headrest monitor to mount into the passenger headrest--I'll be taking more trips with the family in the MINI, and the portable DVD player was too clunky--hanging off the headrest. That'll be my next little AV project--mount that sucker permanently. I'm also thinking of selling my new Mont Blanc rack---I used it only once, but I'll give any local person a big discount on it. I think I'm going to go to the factory MINI rack and drill the holes---as much as I've hated the idea of drilling holes in my roof--you need two people to put the Mont Blanc, and I just don't always have that luxury.
My MINI-"van"--how we travelled 1,000 miles with two adults and a 4 year old..."Daddy, are we there yet???"
(The luggage wasn't the bad part--neither were the scooters--it was hauling merchandise, tools, folding chairs, eletrical cords, spare tire, etc... everything to support the Show!)

I'm whooped. I probably sweated out 20% of my body weight at Mini Mania; it was 102 this afternoon when I checked. Ridiculous. And I went to all the trouble to QD and Clarity after the drive up, and an hour later all the cars were yellow with pollen
Saw Richard; the car looks great in person with all the little changes. I especially love the side vents. Played with all the goodies he brought and watched his son get REALLY excited about a caterpillar on his sleeve
Did the group run up to Bullard Dam, we took some pics and I gotta upload those tonight at some point.
It was a good day...a lot of vendors with cool stuff, lots of cool MINIs, a nice run. Lower the temp 10 or 20 degrees and it would have been perfect!

Success. The Meguires one-step cleaner cleaned off the dye and the seats look great -- actually, better than new because they are a much more rich color now. I think I'll invest in the Prima Nourish though ..

ML Lessons
Hey ML:
re: lessons
Actually, I meant that I was going to give you some pointers at the event--but since I didn't have electricity at the time, I couldn't show you! =)

Did they give you a free one of their $100 hose nozzles? That must be a serious nozzle for what they want for it, either that or I'm just not the target market (that being those for whom $100 is chump change).
Maybe Griot's could lower their prices (not that they're bad at all) if they didn't send out a new catalog every month. It's not that I don't appreciate the bathroom reading, but it doesn't seem like there's much new. With the Internet and all I can't believe they haven't at least scaled back the mail order catalog to a quarterly affair.
The free nozzle offer is on page 25 of the new Griot's catalog I got today.

I still need some hos of my own. Er, hose. Yes, hose. That's what I meant.

I think they know what they're doing, because they always seem to get me in the "breastular" area.
This is why the OCDetailer crowd is the bestestest !! You guys !I guess we won't see ken for a while. He'll be off playing with his hose. I know when I got my Griot's hose, I was out of the house for days... watering the plants, washing the cars, watering the neighbors plants, washing down the cul-de-sac... I love that hose !
RRRRRRRRRRRREALLY ?!
If this guy thinks a PC is a Personal Computer, she needs to dump his sorry *** right now. Pronto !
What's this guy's name on the board ? I have to check him out and see if he's worthy of our dear Mel's affections.
Just checked out that board. Is his name "Impulsive" ?

Whoa... I spoke too soon... her knight in smelly brown armor just got banned. She's pretending to be happy... but I know she's really crying inside. Everyone be sensitive to her in this, her time of need.
He's an ***. And he's been banned
I knew he was baiting me but I couldn't leave it alone, so I called Mark into the fray!
I appreciate the sentiment though. Maybe a Dragon wedding someday...just not with the guy in the Kia!
How do people that stupid seriously get out of bed and in motion every day? I really don't get it.
And, BTW...that Seinfeld episode was on here last night
