Clara needs a bath SO bad. But every time I decide today's the day, they say it's going to snow tomorrow. GRRR.

There is a foreign object in the sky (Sun) here today...guess that means I need to give Molly a little TLC!!

Think I'll try kenchan's 50/50 Nero concoction too!!

Dang I'm tired. Just washed, dried, BW'd, 303'd, tire dressed, engine cleaned, leathercared, and touched up a zillion chips on my aero bumper. BG and vac tomorrow and done.

After resisting it for three years (because I thought it was stupid for a convertible) I think I'm going to be stupid and tint. Might DIY (since I DIY everything else)...

Your going to tint your own hair rather than go to a salon, how daring of you

Don't tell KenChan, he was right...we'll never hear the end of it!! Using 50/50 Nero worked great and made cleaning the interior easier and quicker!!

Bummer though...I opened up the Passenger side Vanity Mirror to clean it, something snapped, a piece broke off and the door was a booger to get back on. I made sure that the Vanity Light was off so I wouldn't have battery problems later. I am going to see if the Dealership will cover this under Warranty, if not I'll pay to have it fixed, RealOEM has the part listed for $79.00.

Most of the snow melted off today, it kind of washed the back of dirt. It used to be dirtier. The high was something like 43 so I took the opportunity to get my car hosed off.

Dramatic before and after, Nabeshin! What rear blades do you use? Looks like they are working great.

John, it makes it a bit easier to spread around, it dries faster, and it's a sure way to get into the El cheapo club

That it does...I have a gallon jug too, and I had to pour half of my Nero Bottle back into the jug to make room for the water!!

Anyone who knows me knows I don't do "cheap", but this stuff worked great and I still had pleny of the water left to make my Washer Fluid via Autogeek.com's 303 Instant Windshield Washer Tablets!!

I actually use the replacement blade refills offered at the BMW/MINI dealer for all my wipers. I even change them every 6 months. To get such performance out of an already great blade, I have the rear wiper turned on when there is the slightest moisture on the ground. It wipes any stuff away before it dries and causes smearing.

Additional comment:
Is there some kind of Prima sample kit that includes tiny bottles of all their stuff for trying out?

Spring is just around the corner (I hope), it's time to start thinking about re-stocking my Detailing Products.

I wanted some opinions on the following...
Prima Mystique vs. Griot's Car Wash
Prima Hydro vs. Griot's Spray on Wax
Prima Slick vs. Griot's Speed Shine

Thanks!!

so all this time i thought nabeshin washed his car but it was just his rear wiper blade swipe that cleaned the entire rear of the car? dang...

For 50:50, i used Nero and distilled water too. dont want any water rings after app.

I use Turtle wax Ice car wash. Cheap, available everywhere, works great. I have used Mystique, but to be honest I see no difference.

I have not used any Groit's products, but if anyone wants to send me some samples to test, I promise to report my findings

I have a similar fondness for ICE wash. Bought some after I ran out of Mystique... and it's almost as good (perhaps just as good) and cheap and readily available.

Finishing up a bottle of old Meg's Gold Class now - it works well too. Will buy more ICE when it's empty.

Those are all completely different products so you will need to buy both by the gallons. no joke.

I don't use Mystique though cause I don't want polymer on my hobby cars after a wash. I only use carnauba on them. So I use Griot's CarWash.
