Well, broke down an ordered a PC from Octaneguy - along with blackWow, a dirtgaurd, and his video. This is getting expensive but the results should be worth it (I hope )

If you didn't spend your money on something worthwhile like a Porter Cable Random Orbital Buffer... what else would you do with it ? Buy some flowers for the Mrs ? They'll die in a couple of weeks and then what do you have ? Besides an appreciative wife, that is.

FWIW, *I'd* rather have a PC than flowers...but I already have one so I guess I'd take the flowers now. Haha...

But at the time, pre-PC, I would have!

Remember these important words, "I bought this PC to take care of your new Acura because I love you so much!" These are the pass words to whatever you want in the car cleaning supply world......

Ya' know, some people could save a lot of money by buying a communal PC - seeing as most people will only use it a couple of days per year anyway...

Won't save any of US any money, cause we already bought out own...

Mine is already a communal PC...except I always end up being the one to use it on their cars (hubby, MIL/FIL, BIL, BIL's b/f, hubby's grandpa, etc)...

When the detailing clinics in my club were active (before I went pro), I let people use my 3 polishers--and several people brought their own and put it into the pool. That's a great way to introduce others to using the PC while at the same time showing the newbies how to use it properly. When I do these sessions, my main focus is in dispelling the rumors and misinformation that the PC is a machine polisher than should be feared because "it can burn your paint".
