Diluting Hydro w/ water?

This is mostly for Heather but if anyones else has an answer please chime in.

Would one see benefit from using Hydro on a dry car and diluting it with some ratio of water / hydro? Would it give the great shine and filling capabilities and act like a quick detailer? I really like its results on windows and the paint and it would make a nice spray to use...

Oh also... Is its smell engineered or is it just a bi-product of the different chemicals and polymers involved? I have to say it is probably my 2nd most favorite smelling product behind Slick. Well, it may actually smell better than slick, that is a tough one.

I am getting ready to buy a gallon. BUT since you are suppose to use it on a wet car anyways so that it dilutes it self I was wondering what the ratio would be to dilute it directly and still be effective

i know where you're coming. but Hydro can be used wet or dry.

the concentration level varies from how wet your car is. to get the
optimum, i say just use it 100% concentration if on a dry surface.

Mr. Hydro, how much rubbing in is involved in using it dry?

no rubbing! you can gently work the product into the paint to spread
evenly. no rubbing or buffing needed.

oh wait, were you referring to me?

No, you should not dilute Hydro with water. It just isn't designed to work that way, despite the logic based on how Hydro mixes with the water on the car when used wet.

Instead, simply use less Hydro when using it on a dry surface. You'll find it spreads quite easily so you don't have to use much at all! This achieves the same goal of using it like a QD by mixing it with water but it will function much better this way.
