MOTD Ice Cream Run
MOTD Ice Cream Run
I just found out that you now must register on the Event Calendar to attend this run, so just wanted to let everyone here know about it. See you all there, and before hopefully.
If that doesn't work out (if theyfill up or whatever), here's another alternative in nearby Franklin, NC:
Check out Mountain Glides - they have an "Afternoon Delight" Segway tour. You ride around on a Segway XT (the off-road all-terrain version) and then stop for an awesome desert at a restaurant (Gardenia's, I think). The Segways are cool and the owner is a friend of mine who frequents the Dragon a lot on her motorbike. She also knows a lot of other twisties in the area if you are looking for alternate routes.
For more info, see www.mountainglides.com - if you've never been on a Segway, you've got to try this - they're awesome!
