Indy F1 2007 Tickets
Indy F1 2007 Tickets
I have a pair of Formula 1 tickets for Indianapolis this coming summer that I won't be able to use.
No markup, ticket prices is $177 for the pair.
F1 at Indy is Sunday, June 17th in 2007. The tickets are under the overhang at the back of the Paddock section (it's hot at Indy in the Summer), directly across from the 1st team paddock and the start/finish line. You see into the first three team pits, vehicle launch on pit road, turn 1 in the distance, the start-finish line drivers parade, etc. Oh, you also get to see F1 cars go by at 200mph and front row to the start.
Ear plugs (or headset) is highly recommended, though the purist may say not required.
These are race-day tickets only. I typically purchase general admission tickets at the track to see Saturday Qualifying ($25 a per person).
If you've never heard a F1 car (even the new V8's) at full tilt, you are in for a treat.
I also have hotel reservations to go with the tickets (Friday evening arrival, Monday morning checkout), but you can utilize those at your own convenience.
In addition, I have the shared headphones and radio scanner you can borrow to listen to the Speed Channel's production broadcast during the qualifying and race.
I just thought someone in the DCMM group might be interested. Please ignore if I'm off topic.
That is all,
- Jim

Can I claim first dibs on these?
My brother in-law is a huge F1 fan I need to check with the rest of the family to see if they will pitch in to buy the ticket, get him, there and put him in a hotel.
Can you give me till 5:00 PM tomorrow?

The Tickets (and potentially the hotel reservations) are now taken by a poster on this list. If for some reason they fall through, I will maintain the pecking order as listed here.
I glad to see someone using the tickets, excellent.
