I wanted to start a new thread. We are going to leave on Fri. Not sure what time we are leaving though.

Can someone make this a sticky please.

I'll be leaving after work. So, possibly 5 or 5:30 if I can get out by then.

I'll be leaving after work too... hopefully directly from work, if I'm organized enough. I'll definitely be interested in a caravan, but I fear that rush hour traffic is going to make the start miserable, regardless of whether we drive 95 or 66.

We are planning on leaving between 12N and 1pm. Going to go 66 to 29S. That is the quickest way to C-vile.

Very likely.... but let me know, we can probably caravan together, maybe some others will join.

I'll be leaving around lunchtime, too, heading West on I-66 to Skyline Drive and tooling down the scenic way to Charlottesville. Anyone interested in joining me is certainly welcome.

I'll be going too after work, but it may be more like 4pm give or take a 1/2 hour if I can swing it.

Unfortunately I'm working eve shift that day, and won't be off work until 9:30pm. Looks like I'll have a lot of catching up to do. :(

Jen, are you talking about going down with Just Jay/MININurse on Rt29 or are you interested in the Skyline Drive route (going down to Charlottesville)?

I actually don't know! But I am guessing that if you are arriving at 10pm, much of it will be winding down? Dunno! We're leaving early cuz I get off work at 0730 and can sleep in the car and want to be there when the crew arrives!

Actually, if anyone is interested, I too will be taking the 66/29rt, but probably around 2pm or a little earlier, unfortunately I most likely won't be able leave at noon, but I'll know more when we get closer to the date. I would love to caravan with you if possible.

The thought of "festivities" (or missing them) on Friday evening causes me to want to try to leave work early that day... we'll see, maybe I can pull it off, and leave either at lunchtime (12-ish) or 2pm-ish... but ideally, yes it would be nice to get out of town ahead of rush hour!

Does anyone know what festivities are taking place in C-ville? I checked the MTTS site but it doesn't offer up much.

Yeah, the thought of missing stuff has made me rethink our departure time. I would think the "festivities" would be in C-ville or in the general area. I read on the MINI web site that the night before in WV they are having a drive-in movie event with popcorn, etc. Makes me want to go to WV for Thursday night...sounds like fun!
