Per my thread in the MOTD4 forum, I'm missing a Motorola 2-way radio from the rec center, late on Saturday night. Have any of you that attended seen it? It was an SX700R, black with florescent yellow accents, and the light flashed blue when it was turned on (some of those models flash red, but not mine). I still have its twin brother - it would be nice to have a reunion!

Also - this is probably more for the MOTD4 committee people, but my label printer cartridges seemed to go missing from the boxes of MOTD4 registration stuff. They are CASIO branded, and are of no use to anyone unless you also have the label printer itself... which I still have.

 

The cartirdges are in one of the boxes in Mark M.'s car. I am almost positive I saw them when we were packing boxes.

 

I'll check the boxes when I get home...

 

While we're at it, I'd like to get ahold of the registration booklets... (the sign-in sheets, walk-in registration list, etc.) to update the master registration list for all those who checked in and those who didn't, etc.

Also, any unclaimed pre-registration badges - since they would be the best way to cross-check the attendance list.

Ah too bad, I bet you were hoping you'd have to buy a replacement so you can get the ones with the blue faceplates...

You know, maybe we can contact Motorola and just get the blue faceplates straight from them...??

 

OK so here is what you do now...since we all have sorta the same radios....go buy a bottle of BRIGHT red fingernail polish or something and PAINT YOUR NAME ON IT!!!

Jay and I did that..Now you can't miss ours!

 

A good idea... but then we'll both want to use the faceplates.

OK!! Ill go to the manufacturer and make them create MINI colors for fingernail polish.. I don't think they have ELECTRIC BLUE But do you hear me complaining? NOOOO but I think you all are CRAZY!!!!!
