'AidenL' of MINI2 fame is coming to visit the DC area all of the way from Ireland at the end of September. Let's show him some DCMM hospitality and join him at the 'clubhouse', a.k.a. the Tortilla Factory, the evening of September 26th! And as a bonus, 'AprilWhine' from the VA beaches will be joining us for dinner!

Also, for all of the new folks to the club, this will be a great way to meet a bunch of other DCMMers!

I happened to be glancing over at MINI2 this evening (not something I do that often), and I happened to be reading that very same thread (hey - a DC-related thread on an international forum!)... and as I got to the more recent posts, I started to think: "Hey, I haven't heard of a get-together for this gentleman yet"... and then I refreshed, and there was your last post...

Jump over here, and here it is. Cool. After reading all of those pages of info on MINI2, I HAVE to count myself in.

 

I'll try to make it....maybe my Paul will come as well.

Hey y'all, if anyone's got a Tortilla Factory dining card, bring it. One big get-together could really pay off, with their discounting. I believe the discount is PERMANENT once you reach a certain number of visits/amount of moolah expended. Our last visit could have done it in one shot..

I have things I *can* week nights, I just don't ever really have any plans.

 

I finally get some free weekends, and this is planned on the ONE weekend in September that I will be out of town! Mike and I will be celebrating our One year wedding anniversary in Deep Creek and will not be back until the 27th. I promise I still want to be an active member here!!

Off the subject...I am getting my new air filter for the MCS today!! This weekend will be spent adjusting to the "Swoosh" sound and higher horsepower! I plan on motoring through Westminster and Annapolis this weekend, so members in those areas, look out for me!!

Just looked up the address on mapquest, and while it is a hike for me, Id like to go. More reason to motor, right? Put me down as a tenative yes. I dont eat much and I dont take up a lot of room.

I just joined DCMM today and I live at Langley Air Force Base down near Hampton/Newport News/Williamsburg area and for a Monday night 178miles is a little far for me but I hope to meet members very soon! If any of you live near my area and ever get together in the local area let me know. Otherwise it will have to be a weekend gig that I can make it to.
