We'll be there too. After missing B&BIII, which looked like it was a blast, I don't want to miss another.

Grumbler and I were thinking about a fun road from Annapolis to Townson. Any ideas?

I've looked at that a few times. This may read as complicated, but you are mostly staying on the same road by different names...

The best I have found so far is to take MD 450, Defense Hwy west to MD 424, Davidsonville Rd, which turns into Conway after crossing MD 3, but it retains its 424 numbering. Confused yet?

Conway becomes Patuxent Rd and then Piney Orchard Parkway. After you get north of Annapolis Road (MD 175) in Odenton, this road becomes Telegraph Road, MD 170. Take MD 170 and follow that all the way north of BWI where it goes left (north) and is called Camp Meade Rd. (If you miss the left turn you will find yourself on MD 162 which soon turns back south; and you're lost. )
MD 170 has an interchange with the 695. The only reasonable way I have found from there is to take the 695 Beltway around Baltimore to get to Towson MINI. All these roads are in Anne Arundel County. You don't get into Baltimore Co. until crossing the Patapsco River, just north of the B-W Parkway (MD 295).

As I said, much of this route is one road by many different names and numbers. I think it beats the heck out of taking the 50 to the I-495 to I-95 if you can follow it.

There are a few twistie places, but it does go through less congested areas and avoids the 50, 495 and 95. Pick yur poison I guess.

Yes, anyone who paid toward the rained out washing event will be considered to have already paid the event fee for this event.
