I'm looking forward to Spring for the first run of the year, that's always a good time!! I still remember my first event (Spring Fling 2005), met lots of new faces and MINIs

Long time no see!!! I just wanted to let everyone know that I have renewed my membership and added Jessie "Stripes" to my membership. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I wish I could have been in Maryland to see everyone. Well, hopefully I will be able to be get up there soon. Talk to you all later. Brian

Hey Chris, its good to hear from you too. And the battleship is about 4 hours north of where we are. I will be up in Maryland from around Jan. 18th to the 21st. Hopefully the club can get together and have a dinner or something so we can see everyone while we are up there.

I renewed my and My SO's membership, but the check has not cleared yet. ??

 

Mini-Bee. Give me a call when you get up this way. I have managed to get 2 others to join me at the local Paneras and am trying to meet once a month to talk about MINIs.

 

We definitely will have to have a homing coming event for you.
Actually, Jan 19th should be a monthly breakfast day. I'm not sure of the location yet. We can set a lunch or dinner or something.

Chris, they rotate. Since it was MoT last month and MoS this month, than it would be Tate next month. Also, breakfasts are always on the 3rd Saturday of every month..........

You can also check the previous months calendars by clicking on the month that you wish to look at and it has what was on the calendar....

 

I will see what we can do as far as getting together. Her mom is having a baby shower for her Saturday evening but I will be free (I think ). I will try my hardest to be at any event that DCMM has going on. I miss hanging out with everyone.

**UPDATE** Well, the babyshower is on Sunday now so WE both will be able to make it!

PLEASE NOTE! If you join or renew in December and January, processing will not occur til the end of January. I leave in 10 days for 2week vacation without my laptop. While I can access my email accounts via internet cafes, I will only be doing just that...checking my email.
Five days after we return from Key West, we're going to be in NYC for my nephew's wedding from 1/10-1/13. A week after that is the DCMM Holiday party at our house. So, I'm gonna be a wee bit busy.

Hey!!!! Can I go with you to Key West?????? I'll even buy the first round of Pina Coladaz. The weather here is not conducive to having fun. I know there are few MINI roads in Key West, but getting there is the fun part.

If the place we're staying in was more than 600 sq. ft., and had more than one bed..I'd be happy to invite you....well...er..maybe not..and we don't drink much, even on New Year's...that way, people watching is much more fun...we don't have a car..we ride bikes or take taxis. I do have a friend in KW who drives a MINI, tho..

 

I spent 2 weeks there in late November a LOOOOONNNNNGGGGG time ago and remember that it was warm! One person had a car and it didn't take long to go from one end of the Key to the other. We decided to take a long drive on one of our days off and got as far as Marathon. All we saw was water and mangrove swamps. We bought some souveniers and went back. The best fish dish I had was flying fish. I can't remember the real name for it, but at the time, it was the speciality there.
