Hi All!!! Newbe here, my partner and I just joined the DCMM as a couple membership.. Just downsized from a Dodge Ram to a 08 Clubman and do we love it (kinda of miss the Ram, but I will get over it). Has anyone else had problems with Tate Mini of Annapolis Service Department or is it just me?

You won't miss the Ram for long.

Btw, Tate is in the transition of improving (overhaul) their service and other departments. It should back on track soon.

 

Hi everyone -
just purchased a used 2005 Mini Cooper S (Green, black top and mirrors) last week from DARCARS in Silver Spring. LOVE driving the car, lots more room than I thought, and very well designed.

Unfortunately, I have had three problems in just the one week I have had it:
- bonnet/tailgate light remains on
- flat tire monitor system isn't working (constant yellow light)
- just today,the EML light came on (electronic functions) and I can't get to over 10 mph

Luckily, I got Darcars to agree to pick it up and fix it - and it's under the original warranty until 2009. So hopefully I can get it back soon - I hope it's not a lemon, but if it is, just driving this one has convinced me to try and hunt down another one

New member - saying hello...from Bowie. Purchased a MCCS several weeks ago and love driving "Bubba". After a rough start (engine light aka..High pressure fuel pump), I ahve racked up some miles..went to Annapolis, took some pics..and drove around on 450 for some twisties..until the slow pokes got in the way.
I promise to wave at any MC I see!
