Hmm... British Pantry, good lunch,...Savoury tea.....Shepherd pies, .... twisty road...., Hmm... it's so tempting.
Must be a good hang-out place, after the breakfast meet.

I am going to be able to come to this one and finally get a chance to meet everyone. We should definitely do the British Pantry, I've been wanting to go there, and it just so happens that it is located a couple miles from my home.
Will it be an issue for a large group at the pantry ? My one time over and they were booked solid.
I should be able to make this one, as long as there's no snow, Wensley don't go in the snow !

I plan to make a reservation before hand. Last time we had about 15 people.
Please go to the Calendar to reserve the renowned Shepherd pies.

Now, we need some volunteer to do the routing and to lead the run.

Should be a fun, ~40 minutes run.

Any "run" that the club does from MoS to the British Pantry needs to be done at a calm, casual pace. Some of us let go of our better judgement last time we drove over to BP, and it was not a positive image for the club.
I don't want people to be discouraged from making the trip!

also.....be accepting of new people (not that anybody here is not, but, just be aware of engaging new faces for more than two minutes). I had a long conversation with a member today and both he and his wife felt the same as my wife and I did after a DCMM event. The cliques take over and the n00bs are left wondering why they bothered to come out.

This will be my first event, so I am one of the noobs you speak of. I just want to meet everyone and have a good time, which I'm sure I will. Do I need to get a radio or something for the run? I thought I read that somewhere.
). Not long, but fun. You'll be ok without the radio. But it will help if you have it and will make the run more enjoyable for you.
For more info and discussion on the issue and the topic "What is a good run, in your perspective", please go to the thread.
