I don't know that I've posted in this thread before, but my name is Jason and I'm a bit down the road in Harrisonburg, VA. I travel up to the DC area quite a bit for work and pleasure though so I'll be keeping my eyes peeled. It seems like everytime I head up there I see the same GP on 66 near Fairfax.

Actually I'll be up there next week!

My name is Bill. I just signed up for membership. I've got a CR/B MCS on order. I believe I'm Week 36 production. I live in Essex in Baltimore County.Hope to see y'all at some of the events although weekends are kinda rough since I work Saturdays.

I'm Jacob and just joined today. I live about 3 hours from Washington, but bought my R56 at MINI of Sterling. We lived in the District before moving to the mountains so we're often in Washington. I hope to convince you all to drive out to Hot Springs - the scenery is great and the back roads make for wonderful driving.

I have an idea for an event for next spring that includes great music at the Virginia Blues & Jazz Festival.

 

Welcome Jacob! Make up some nice driving event and let me know and we can schedule it! Sounds like fun. Nothing like a nice drive in the hills!

Thanks JustJAY, I plan on coming to the Union Jack event, so I hope to meet some members there. This is our first MINI, and only had it for about 2 weeks. Its a 2007 MCS Laser Blue, no strips. I am sure if you live in the Rockville/Germantown area you will see me or my fience zip'n around. I try to find any reason to drive it when ever I can. I still have about 600 mile of break-in and cant wait.

My name is Darlene and my husband and I bought a 2007 MCS convertible (Lazer Blue) yesterday from Sterling Mini. We've done Miatas, RX7s, Boxsters and must say that this one ranks toward the top for pure fun.

Like everything except will be looking for more power after the break-in is completed, oh say 200 to 220hp. Asking for advice, suggestions and recommendations for ways to satisfy this itch.

Looking forward to participating in events and learning more about this new addition.

 

Congrats on the new MINI. We look forward to seeing you at some of our events. As far as your quest for speed there are several vendors in the area including Lucky Dog Garage, Mach V, Helix to name a few that can assist in your transition from stock to hyperspeed. :-)

 

Hi I'm Nicole. I just got my new Laser Blue, white bonnet stripes, MCS about 10 days ago. I love it already! I live in the Silver Spring/Wheaton area, so I'm hoping to make it to Union Jack's. Great to virtually meet you all!
