DCMM New Members Welcome Thread
yeah, cutoms is hell now.. worse when I send something TO the USA... If I used purolator, and send something metal, there are 2 forms that need to be filled out in triplicate.... black pen only.
Shirt fits.
Hi, I'm Jeff, I ordered my 07 MCS on the 14th, and it's going into production next week, so I'm looking at being an official member at the end of July.
Some things about me: I live just south of Annapolis, and work in Bowie. I currently have 3 BMW's: 87 325 (for sale!), 86 325es, and a 67 1602.
I look forward to hanging out and going on drives, as long as they are later at night or sundays.

I live just north of Annapolis, in Severna Park. Where are you?
Welcome to the club Jeff.
We live way south of Annapolis where there are lots of MINIsbut no joiners. I met a lady last night that purchased a new MINI last week. She traded her 25-year old MGB in on it. I asked her "WHY?" Surely she had room in her driveway for 2 small British autos. I know I would.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I live in Edgewater.
Is there any chance there is a woman on here with the tags of "toycoop"? If so, she is one of my customers.
That stable of cars is going to dwindle, the 87 is for sale and the 67 I would like to sell as well. I just don't have the time or money to put into it to get it to the shape I want it to be.

Hey Everyone! New here, have signed up with DCMM, and am looking forward to meeting all sorts of folks! I'll be at the cherry picking even this weekend = ) My Mini is pretty much stock right now, but hopefully I'll have a few changes in store for Saturday!

I recently received my new member package which includes some decals for the windows. Question: must the 'Actual Size' and the NAM decal be placed on the outside of the glass, or will they adhere to the inside? Some decals (e.g. the DCMM one) are 'reverse printed' so that they can be applied inside, viewed correctly from the outside, but not be subject to the elements when washing, etc.
Hi everyone!
I just got my 2007 MINI last Friday (previously owned a 2002) and am SO glad to be back in the MINI family. Woot! Back in '02 there weren't many of us around, so it's great to see such a huge group here. I just joined DCMM yesterday and look forward to getting to meet some of you all at future events.

Thanks for the welcome! Yes, it used to be a blast being a one car parade everywhere I went. I do miss that. But I love having the car again.
I'm in Sterling VA, but bought this MINI from Tate in Annapolis as they had what I wanted on the lot. They were great, and then I got to have that long drive home to break it in, to boot. It was all worth it!
I hope to be at some future events, too! Wanted to do the cherry picking tomorrow, but will be heading south to Culpeper at that time of the morning. Hopefully the next go around!

Hello all!
I bought my car from MoT in December and thought its about time to join a community. I currently live in downtown Baltimore, but will soon move up to Towson. Hopefully I will be able to go to an DCMM event in the upcoming weeks. If not a DCMM, I'll get to meet some people at the MoT AutoX school on the 22nd.
