I believe our car went to paint yesterday. My wife calls everyday to see where it is.

She's pissed that we missed the tint party a couple weeks ago.

We'll miss the get together this Saturday but hope to meet everyone at some point.

 

My girlfriend and I wanted to go and meet the othere MINIs in the area,
but she'll be baking cakes all day for a Halloween party, and I'll be at a NonProfit Board Meeting at Solman's island (at least its a nice long drive from Rockville)

I'd love to come to the cookout this weekend to meet everyone, but unfortunatly I will be out of town this weekend. I will try to make it to an event soon though. My Mini is scheduled to hit NY on the 30th, so I am thinking that it should be to MoS soon after that... I CAN'T wait!

At the moment, the way that our bylaws are written one membership price covers the membership of two people. You must provide us with both names and tell us this, or else we will not know to make two name badges.

Our by laws will be rewritten soon and submitted for approval, when that happens categories will change and membership will be for singles, doubles and family at various prices.

 

I have a question and not sure where to place this. I joined the DCMM by PAYPAL a couple of days ago, I got info from PAYPAL it was sent but nothing from DCMM. Just wanted to make sure I did the right thing to join. Thanks.

Normally takes a couple of weeks, give or take, for your packet to arrive in the mail. But fear not, you're a member as far as we're all concerned. Once your packet does arrive, I'm sure you'll appreciate all the goodies Jen packs in there for you !

welcome new MINI's!!!

 

Hi folks: Wanted to post a quick hello. This has been a week of MINI firsts for my wife and I. We took delivery of our MCSa on Tuesday night at MOS and became members of DC Metro MINIS yesterday. Suffice to say we're thrilled with our new arrival. We're looking forward to motoring on the Skyline Drive this weekend with Greeley. Hope to see you at some events over the next couple of months - till then take care and keep the shiny side up
