Bragging Rights & Publicity

You might find this piece from today's Howard County (MD) Times to be of interest -- they got the name of DCMM (3rd paragraph from the end) wrong but the rest of the article is pretty good.

I would NOT be driving a Ferrari.. I'll take my MCS over a ferrari everyday simply because I KNOW i can handle the snow here in michigan with my MCS.

Congratulations Tom,

I think it's pretty cool that I can say I'm friends with a real rocket scientist!

I don't get it. You own a Mini. When do you find the time for all of that? Shouldn't you be out motoring? Where are your priorities, man?

Just kidding. Congrats! LMK if you need a translator next time you go to Russia.

Let's think about how great this award is -- yes, Tom is the only American (ok, non-russian) to get this award --- but they give it out in the middle of winter -- who do they expect to come up there are accept???

Yes, I love telling people I am friends with a rocket scientist almost as much as I enjoyed the story of you using your dishwasher to clean car parts and Elizabeth married you anyway!!!!

Congrats on the excellant article ---

Hugs,
PB

Surprisingly & pleasantly, the weather in St Pete was tolerable. Half the days were bright sun, snow a couple of days, temps near freezing. We took bootwarmers and ended up not needing them. And vodka is good anti-freeze.

Now don't go telling too much about my sordid past and days of mis-spent youth.

Congrats, Tom, on your prestigious new honor! And, BTW, you're good at planning steamtrain rides, too! LOL!
