Are you sure its December?
Just spent a week out in the St. Louis area for Xmas with the wife's family...and we were lucky to see temps climbing out of the single digits for highs. Avg. temp was maybe 15 degrees out of all the 7 days we were there
Coming back home was even more of an adventure. Traveling through 30 plus inches of snow through Indiana, Kentucky, and parts of Illinois was no easy task. We had the wife's Nissan Armada which is very capable in bad weather...just not so capable on icy interstates. Average speed coming back on I-64 through IL, IN, and KY was about 40mph...had to stop in Louisville at 2am to sleep and calm my rattled nerves.
But, back home, when a 35 degree day feels like a tropical climate, and really looking forward to the 60 plus degree temps on tap for this weekend
Have a safe and happy New Year's everyone!!!!!
T.

Yes we're sure it's December, we got to Memphis last week only an hour ahead of the ice storm!
If you think DC gets screwed up in snow an ice you need to go to Memphis, they take it to a whole new level! 26 sand trucks and no plows. The interstates were pretty clear 4 days later, but most of the other streets still had a good 2 inches of ice on them!
It's a good thing the Subaru has all wheel drive!
