Don't think I will be able to make this one ....I just realized how far out it is! Plus I will have to pass through Frederick to get there and I have vowed to avoid Frederick at all costs. But my main reason is that I am going to strip the clear bra and do a full detail on Ambrosia with the porter cable and all. A bit bummed the Prima products weren't going to make it here in time so I ordered from my default Autopia and got a decent sonus replacement for now. Anyway, with a fully detailed car and no clear bra (the clear bra is getting re-applied Monday morning) I don't think I want to drive around that far without it. Unless of course I taped up the entire front of my car with the painter's tape but that would just look dumb! Looks like fun though...you guys enjoy yourselves!

As far as I know the owners are the same, Judi and her husband (can't remember his name ) have been great to us. When we got married it was on a very meager budget and thus we spent our honeymoon up there and have enjoyed it each year since. At that time Ronnie was the manager, we were the last ones to stay there before the ownership changed hands.

It's an outstanding property, but the realities of running such a business were a little too daunting at the time. This was about 10-12 years ago; I'd seriously consider it again if it came back on the market.

Will there be a MINI club discount ?

Leona and I have been going there since 2002 so you're probably right about it changing hands several times.

Its in good hands now and I highly recommend it to any DCMM member to give it a try. There are many things to do up that way, we've taken the WMSR train, visited "Falling Waters" and gone biking in Ohiopyle. Last year's stay was a huge stress reliever ! I plan to do it again this fall.

Plus you can take these cool photos that make it look lik you're over in the UK !

Cheers,

Mike

It is really a mini DRAGON. Glenn, there were no black helicopters follow-
ing me out, however there was a black Ford Focus behind me but once I
got back on the twisties it was not an issue if you know what I mean.
Seems like there will be no road closure for Park Central Road this weekend.

Yeah, a pre-dragon run.

Strike one for Cozy...looks like Bev won't be able to make it.

As of right now, I'm still planning on being there. Hope to see you all then.

man, I really wish I could make this run. If you go by Camp David, honk your horns and wave at dubya for me. Well, waving is polite...I'd gesture a lil differently...

It's still waving, the only difference is whether or not you use your entire hand
