Hey guys, I am thinking about joining in! How easy is it to get from Newport News, Va? Should I go to Map Quest to get directions? THANKS!

Pretty much straight forward north. Take your regular route toward DC, then take 495 west pass tyson's corner, then to Md.. Merge onto 270 north to Frederick, Md.

It's a quite a drive from Newport News, Va. to join the us. I would say, to get to the starting point, it will take you 3 1/2 hours. But it well worth it though.

Derek - just the wonderful changing world of autonomous aircraft flying.....I'm still on the short list for Arizona so I wouldn't be surprised to find myself out there, Azier is out of the picture for a while, our customer is having export trouble.

Rab - Looking forward to it ! I love that area up there, I've always preferred the mountains to the beach ! at least on this coast !

Hoping for sun and an open roof !

Quick question- Are wiper blades covered under the 3/36000 ? Wensley's have never been replaced and after yesterday are shot. I thought the dealer was supposed to do this during the checks ?

It should be covered by you free maintenance plan. My SA asked me everytime I brought Maxi in for service if I'd like to change it.

Yup, according to Rose at MoT (from what I remember her telling me awhile back) , wiper blades are covered.

Yeah, no need for wiper blade. But don't forget to check tires pressure.

Now that I have new blades....it won't rain again till they start to fall apart ! So we should all thank Calvin for helping me out !

As for the tires, they're always set and pre-warmed bring on the curves !

RAB - Here's that video I shot of the Castle on Rt9 ? this was a day before the run up that way back in the fall. Leona and I spent a few days at "The Castle" in Mt Savage.

Just came onboard -had my MINI S three weeks and havn't joined you all for a trip yet, but became a member yesterday. I'm in Arnold about 1/2 mile from TATE and I have been exploring out west quite a bit, would love company!

you're pretty close to me...I'm in Severna Park on Old County Rd. I saw a yellow S with bonnet stripes rip past our house yesterday...was that you?

Nope, yesterday it was in the garage. I am often around millersville, there are some nice roads -chesterfield road near St. Pauls church road and that area are good to drive.

Nice!

My wife and I looked into buying The Castle a few years ago, when we were on our "let's run a B&B" kick. I think it's gone through at least two owners since then.
