well, I;m glad y'all had fun, tho' Chris should be more mindful of signs posted around Camp David You're lucky they didn't arrest you...I'm serious.

I want to see a pic of the sweeper award. That was very thoughtful of you Rab. Being sweeper can be fun, but not always.

I am soooo sorry to have missed this run...I think a re-do is a definite must.

Any more pics?

Mark.
It was great to meet you as well, Mark, my fellow mellow yellow. Eight months in the club and you're the first yellow MINI that I've met.

It was also nice meeting the other faces new to me, Brian & Jeff. And chilipeppa03! Dude came up from Newport News! Your car rocks by the way.

Now wait a gosh darn minute... before you guys bust my chops any more...

According to my research assistant (BillyBob Roadkill), there is a statute in Maryland that says buffet style meals qualify for a LeMans start. All I was doing was trying to be a good citizen by complying with that law

It's not my fault all you suckers waited until the waitress told you to start your engines and gave you the green flag! Ignorance of the law is no excuse for going hungry. Especially after the incredible workout Rab gave us!

Rule number one of any buffet: don't sit down in your seat until you have a plate of food.

Glad you made it our way. Was the trip worth it? Did you enjoyed the spirited run? It was nice meeting our far away Mini comrade. Hope to see you on a future run.

Some photos from the meet and greet before the run.

The group of 16 "Knights of Cumberland".

T&CMSCa's beautiful new Clubman, SpitfireMkI's Wensleydale, MrMellowYellow's Barbarella, Hypnohealer's Dr. P.

Barbarella finally has a Mellow Yellow cousin.

ChiliPeppa03's awesome ride!

Lastly, Tom and Carol's (T&CMCSa) Hot Chocolate Clubman was the belle of the ball.

Gotta learn about 'Stealth Mode'

And always remember, 'It is much easier to ask forgiveness than it is to get permission'

Really nice to meet you and Glad the you have had a good time.

In case you want to plan ahead, we will have two of the major events, in the month of May and June, in May will be "MINIs by the Bay V, 5/18", and in June will be "DCMM annual picnic, 6/1". Those are "not to be missed" events.

Please come and join us, it will be great fun.

First attempt at a video

Hi folks-

Please enjoy my feeble attempts at recording and condensing two hours of incredible motoring into about 5 minutes of highlights. Keep you fingers crossed that this works, and thanks again, Rab for putting on such a terrific run!
