At some point I am going to Azerbaijan !

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azerbaijan

And it may be around this time, of course, I was supposed to go to New Mexico and Arizona too and that fell through. Our customer seems to be putting forth quite an effort to get over there. So I can't make any promises in April.

I'm looking forward to this trip, looks like an interesting place........

Sorry Old Chap,

Mike

Unless things change, I won't be able to join this one. A friend of mine needs to be consoled (needs company) after surgery....

I was thinking that the Mini's from the Northern Virginia can hookup and as a group head up to the Sheetz. It can be a little pre-run before the big run.

I was up in the Catoctin Mountains today for some "spirited driving" and when
I turned up onto Park Central Road (the road that goes past Camp David) the
Secret Service had a checkpoint set up blocking the road. The agent that
came up to my car was a very serious fellow and did not see much humor in
my asking if there was a keg party going on, I promptly turned around!!
Some people need to get out of the house more. Hopefully this won't be an
issue on the 13th. (or at least we will be invited!!!)

Oh no....tell me you didn't really do this, Rab!

You didn't have tiny black helicopters following you home, did you?

yeah the Secret Service is not known for their humor....maybe george is up there this weekend.

Just in case the SS decide to close the road on the day of the run, is there a detour?

If George is back up there on the 13th there is a more direct route over to
the Cozy, but Park Central Road is so great we would hope not to miss it.
It is really a mini DRAGON. Glenn, there were no black helicopters follow-
ing me out, however there was a black Ford Focus behind me but once I
got back on the twisties it was not an issue if you know what I mean.

What kinda run is this? Spirited, extra-spirited, or just a cruise? Gotta figure out which run I want to go on.

Hey, it's about two hours fro Annapolis, and I'm planning to go! the roads around Catoctin mtn are great, and the Cozy restaurant is nothing short of historic. Lots of past presidents have eaten there (and lived!). And the buffet is pretty big with lots of good comfort food. AND they offer a senior citizens discount for those of us 55 and over

And Rab is a terrific driver... I just KNOW he'll plan one heckuva great run
