Another Cookout @ Mark's!

3453 Little Hunting Creek Dr., Alexandria VA (about a mile from Mt Vernon)
Phone 703 704-5112

RSVP here on the DCMM calendar
I can't call this my third annual, since we doubled up and I had two last year. Another cookout for all my DCMM friends. I also always want to extend a invitation to any new members, this is a great opportunity to meet the gang!
No rain date needed as I've got a nice covered porch and rec room so we need not fear the weather or worries about the temps. Plenty of room to spread out.
I'll be doing burgers, dogs, and brats on the grill and I will also provide the rolls, condiments, ice, plates & cups. I'll ask folks to sign up to bring a side dish, sodas, and such. Feel free to tell me you'd like to bring something else, I'm just trying to be sure we cover the basics, or don't have only meat and cake.
We've run heavy on desserts the first two of these and a lot of things were unfortunately barely touched becuase of the number of desserts.
Please RSVP on the NAM calendar...Make sure you RSVP so I can get a head count so we all know how much to bring!
Let me know what you want to bring here in the thread. Back in July last year we had about 28 people and the last left around 11pm!
Here's a list of suggested food items to 'sign up for'. I'll split these up a bit with multiple people for things that are typically eaten the most. If the RSVP list grows we can and will add a additional person for a item too.
Sodas (canned): As long as people like to stay at these cookouts, a large amount of soda has been needed! I'll also have Ice Tea. Suggest 4 - 10 packs each volunteer. Get em on sale 2 for $5 and outlay would be $10. About what a side dish person would spend I think. Last time Regular Coke as most popular, followed by Sunkist Orange! and Diet Caffeine free Coke.
Burgers, Brats, Dogs, Rolls and condiments for all = Mark

I will be tired (have to work the night before) so 1) we may be a little bit late, let me sleep a bit longer than 4 hours, and 2) I will make my taco salad that I made for the christmas party...it didn't come home with me, so I guess you all liked it!
Hey All, lookin' forward to my first cookout Mark! I will be bringing an Indulgent trail mix kind of snack; this stuff is freakin' addictive and I'm sure it will be a big hit. So I guess it could count as a pre-cookout hors d'vours or a post meal lite dessert (it's got white chocolate, chocolate, & peanut butter morsels, almonds, cashews, golden raisens, cranberries). It's the best - I'm not a cranberry fan by any means and I think I've sold about 10 people on this stuff at work; robbed a couple of desk drawers to grab a snack! It's addictive! So that'll be my contribution. :0)

FYI, We'll have my DVD of some Dragon runs with the spectacular top of the roll bar camera mount. You've never seen in car footage of a MINI on the Dragon from this perspective!
Also, I've got a High Definition DVD of the Italian Job! Ooh, Aah, HD!
