Wheel width

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this, but I currently have 225/50 18 tires on 18x7.5 wheels

Can I transfer those tires onto 18x8 wheels?

And if so, will there be any noticeable effect on the car/driving/etc.?

The tires will physically fit the new rims. Make sure the offset of the new wheels isn’t too far off from the OEM offset.

@njaremka stock is 51 mm offset. Desired wheels are 45 mm offset

You should have no issue with the new wheels

You've received excellent advice! I went from 51 offset 18x7.5 wheels with 225/50/18 tires to 45 offset 18x8 wheels with the same tires and am very satisfied with the result.

@Mini-Titan Awesome thank you.

And not to be "that guy", but you mean 225 tires, right?

HA! I don't mind one bit to have a mistake pointed out...I was in a hurry, I guess! Besides, we can see the 225 on the sidewall from the picture; nice catch.
Thanks for the head's up...I edited that post!
